Following the 46th annual Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony on Sunday night at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, in Pasadena California, nominees from the CBS Daytime line-up joined up with their castmates and executives at the CBS Daytime Emmy Awards After-Party held right next to the auditorium.
Doing it up as only CBS Daytime can do, partygoers posed for pics, share some food, drink, and some dance moves. This was also the first time that Y&R’s new Adam Newman, Mark Grossman was seen mingling with his co-stars.
Check out our gallery below of some of your favorites who celebrated a job well-done. After all, Y&R took home the big three: Drama, Writing and Directing for a Drama Series during the Emmy ceremony. Then, let us know what was your favorite pic … and what you hope happens for your favorite characters coming up on Y&R and B&B in the comment section below.

WHOA!
the pic of Sharon and the new Adam/Mark Grossman —
Sharon is what, near 50 yr old and the new Adam looks 30ish.. that is weired..
And, now that Adam is back Rey will soon be let go he has no purpose to stay on..
Su!!!!! Buddy!!! For the first time ever in history…I agree with your entire post!!! Both Sharon’s look Awesome for their age…but New Adam looks like a recast Noah!! Lol. Oh well…soap ages are subjective at best. I hope the storyline is good as I was never an Adam fan until Justin Hartley.
And…you did NOT make one deragoratory comment about the GH writing!! Thank you! You really need to get over that!! Lol.
And…you implied that Rey should leave as he is expendable. Yes and yes!!
Thank you for the kindler and gentler Su! I knew you had it in you bro!!!!
hi Colin !
I am beside myself with glee that you agreed with me with happeness!
Without a doubt, I’m putting you on my Chrismas gift list..
I’m out of Radio Shack gift cards but- I will search for something special 🙂
And- not to shock you I’m not a Bro I’m a Ms.
so- you might get Christmas cookies!
And- Rey has out-lived his purpose and soon he will be gone; he just doesn’t fit in.
Waiting for Adam- so far Sharon just doesn’t seem right with his youngness..
((I still want Pratt back 🙂
su000, you’re knocking it out of the park today! Despite all that went down (or was alleged to have gone down), I will always miss Michael Muhney as Adam — whatever he did (or didn’t do), he was spectacular and made everyone else look good! As Kay points out here, Sharon Case has “chemistry with the phone book.” But so did Muhney!
Nothing against the new actor playing Adam, but the age difference is, as you imply, striking! Case is stunningly beautiful, so I imagine even young pups would find her appealing. But this has “cougar” written all over it.
PS: Oh, and for the record, you’re always a woman to me!
This Adam is just too young! Bring back Michael Muhney
I feel like i’m looking at Cain #2. TWIN any one ? this does not reap any thing MORE or exciting… as he doesn’t have his own unique look.
Sharon Case & Mark Grossman look ridiculous together! And they were married!?!?!
He is WAAAAY to young to play Adam!
Sharon looks like his MOMMY!.
I know Adam is younger than Victoria & Nicolas, but not THAT much younger.
Nick was 16 when Adam was born I am not sure why JG went this route but he did but they needed to acknowledge the past when JH was playing Adam he and Case maybe shared two scenes together. I do not think he will end up with Sharon this is just to tell the history he was involved with Sharon married to her long before the con artist/rapist Chelsea. Oh I forget her past is never brought up only Sharon’s! MCE is closer only five years older so everybody can relax and if you can’t I did not hear anybody complaining about PB 65 having a romance with a 29 year old !!!
Sharon Case is a knock out and has chemistry with the phone book!!!
Kay, agree with you about Sharon Case. However, I find her dull with Rey. He might afford viewers with nice eye candy, but this actor is wooden and lifeless. I much preferred his brother Arturo.
I bitched about Peter Bergen and that 29 year old all the time. They were ridiculous together too!
Hello Kay! I just want to say you’re also knocking it out of the park today! I definitely agree with you regarding the kind words for Sharon Case as well as absurdities pertaining to age differences of romantic pairs. I fondly remember OLTL, but it seemed that as Robert S. Woods (Beau Buchanan) got older and older, his love interests got younger and younger. Perhaps Y&R was/is following suit…
Well just call the nu/Adam / Benjamin Button and everybody will be able to deal with it. The problem with him being cast with a younger actor is all the past history etc. in truth however Nick and Sharon use to change his diapers. Only a soap opera . Good looking devil !
He did research the character and watched all three actors portrayals I am willing to give it a chance I am sure he and Sharon are not in for the long haul but I do not want her ever in Nicks presence again he can have Phyllis
Sorry Kay,
As I am very partial to Nick, despite his hound dog actions lately, I can’t stand him with either Phyllis, they bring out his worst qualities.
Just read something a little crazy on another site. An idea that the shooting was planned and set up by Adam and an accomplice. Very interesting if true. Money was not taken, no vital organs injured, he’s making a quick recovery, but mostly scaring the hell out of daddy so as to grant his every wish. Sounds like something Adam would do. Oh, and the best part is the convenient return of his memory.

Pictured from front row to back are: Tanner Novlan (Finn), Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy), Annika Noelle (Hope), Scott Clifton (Liam) and Lisa Yamada (Luna).
The second row features in staggered positions: Sean Kanan (Deacon), Kimberlin Brown (Sheila). Matthew Atkinson (Thomas), Krista Allen (ex-Taylor), Thorsten Kaye (Ridge), Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke), John McCook (Eric), Jennifer Gareis (Donna), Joshua Hoffman (RJ) and Delon de Metz (Zende).

As previously reported, Krista Allen, who is in the photo, is no longer with the show. Allen reported to Deadline that the third year of her contract was not picked-up. She also said, “The craziest thing is right before I got dropped, I did the cast photo shoot, and then the next week they called and said, ‘we’re not going to keep your third year and thank you very much, you were wonderful and thank you, goodbye.” An insider told the outlet that Allen was offered to recur in the role, but turned it down.
This weekend, two stars featured in the cast pic, Thorsten Kaye and Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, took top acting honors at the 50th annual Daytime Emmy Awards for their performances as Lead Actor and Actress, respectively. In addition, Krista Allen attended the ceremonies, and she was a nominee in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her work as Taylor Hayes in 2022.
