Those who were hoping for a different sort of offering in the failed talk show slot by Disney/ABC (now being vacated by the cancelled FABLife) are getting a variation  of a talker involving viral videos and social media.

Deadline reports that the viral videos show Right This Minute, which has been airing in national syndication since fall 2013, distributed by MGM, has changed distribution partners, signing with Disney/ABC Home Entertainment and Television Distribution for fall 2016.  In the first move, the show has been cleared on the ABC Owned Television Stations Group.  The inventory is now available because of the axing of FABLife.

The upcoming 2016-17 season actually marks the series its sixth year on the air and fourth in national syndication. Gayle Bass, Charity Bailey, Christian Vera, Oli Pettigrew and Nick Calderone, host the series which currently airs on 169 stations covering 87% of the country.  The series is produced by MagicDust Television in Phoenix, Cox Media Group, Raycom Media and the E.W. Scripps Company.

So, what do you think of the latest offering for ABC O&O stations following FABLife? Are you disappointed to hear that it will be putting on a viral video show programming format/talker as its next foray into this continual problematic timeslot for the network and its affiliates? UUUUGGGHHHHH WHY???????!!!!!!

Well, if it is good people may watch it instead of their soap.. lol

It is now proving that our once beloved weekday daytime tv line up is now officially dead, the three original major networks NBC ABC CBS has yet to realize that people want soaps and not talk shows and now this right this minute video show which comes on in my tv market replacing Oprah once she went off the air. I don’t understand why can’t these networks makes and create two 30min soap operas film in NY or outside of NY use as many former actors and actress from Another World, As the world turns, guiding light, all my children, one life to live, I truly believe that these networks ratings would go back up if one if not all of them produce two 30min soap opera shows.

No more talk shows. Bring back the programming that was successful. Something worth watching would be nice.

Yawn, we want soaps and that’s all!

yah because we are soap fans..
not all who watch daytime tv watch the soaps lol
Many will like ”RIGHT THIS MINUTE” it will be interesting and surly funny..
It is youtubs of weird or news stuff, so entertaining..
sorta a TMZ for news and youtube’s lol ..
there is a facebook for it and a website and apps, not bad ..

And I can see any viral video I want 24/7 on my phone, computer, tablet etc. Even if I would watch this crap, I would see it on one of those venues long before it was on this show. What another waste of time!

Boy, rush right in, anything but a soap! How stupid. This will Fail immediately. The concept is geared towards the 16-25 age bracket and I got news for you, teenagers barely watch daytime and once they go off to college they woudl never tune in to ABC to get their “Right this Minute” news/gossip! Its called TMZ, Twitter and Facebook and it is at their fingertips ALL the time. Dumb, dumb, dumb! SIXTH YEAR on air? I’m a TV buff and I never heard of it? Oh, and if any of these people pictured walked into the supermarket I wouldnt even know they were on TV!

hey Timmm ..
yes, the young ones do watch it just not during the day on TV..

TV is the past media with younger peoples;

Facebook; Right This Minute. 592733 likes · 14374 talking about this.

website; so far today- 200 videos 83,032 views Updated today..

Right This Minute has been around for a while so it hasn’t failed yet. The show just started airing in the overseas market where it seems to be faring just as well too.

You are so right. Im also a HUGE tv junkie, and I have never heard of this show. In NY its on some CBS sister station at 8am, so that says how much demand there is for it.

It’s being billed as a news show 2 half hours a day set to dvr tomorrow I’ll see but I agree timmm..TMZ..IT WOULD BE NICE. .if they could take DAYS from NBC..but that won’t happen anytime ever

Hmmmm..see a little kid almost run over. .see a sheep almost fall 200 feet off a cliff. .see a possum stuck on a high electrical wire. .yeah I’m cool. .I wouldn’t watch this show regularly from the moon with a high powered telescope

Pathetic. A televised Facebook. ABC should just break down and do just what PP was trying to do and come up with two 30 minute inexpensive soaps. This show will fail too. See, we have iphones that can do this. That’s why people are running from cable and networks, they simply don’t give us what we want.

Will ABC/D ever disclose the miilions they spent on coming up with these lifestyle/talk show concepts?

Lou, ABC did not come up with this show. It originally aired only on Cox Media Group, Raycom media, and E.W. Scripps Company stations. Our ABC affiliate here in Phoenix is owned by E.W. Scripps and has been airing this show since 2013 (the show is produced in Phoenix). The show leans more towards an Inside Edition type show (although not that) than a lifestyle/talk show. You can blame ABC for picking it up though – the show is not horrible, but I’d rather see ABC invest in another soap than this. This show would do well regardless of whether it was on a major network or independent channel.

I’m talking about the fabliife, revolution, and Katie, not right this minute.

ABC Daytime doesn’t program those shows. The only network shows under ABCD is The View, Th Chew and General Hospital. Everythings else are shows either produced or distributed by its syndication co-subsidiary.

so I guess a Ron C soap focusing on the children of AMC and OLTL icons kids aint happening!?!
i had hoped for an ALL MY LIFE TO LIVE type soap
focusing on Kendall, Bianca, JR, Natalie, Jessica, Kevin, Joey, Mathew, Cassie, Langston and Star
then their parents could be supporting players

Well I have been working on my reality show idea for a while and by the sounds it, its time may have come— I am going to place a video camera on my lawn and just let it film whatever happens. I know it’s brilliant. What is more exciting than watching grass grow right? I’m surprise no else has come with it— and of course there is the drama of when or if my dog might pee on the camera to really sell the show. I think I could get millions for this idea because it is obviously networks will put on anything as long it isn’t a soap. Of course there will be the sequel — the video camera facing the freshly painted wall in my living room, because watching paint dry is a nail biter.

Sigh. Doesn’t every morning show and off-hour newscast include “caught on camera” and “gone viral” segments already? And usually the same ones across the programs? And it looks like there is a group of people around a table, too, to talk endlessly about the clips. Again, sigh.

what a bunch of dumbasses at ABC……this will be, yet, another failed show……so sad….what will it take to get anyone to listen over at ABC????? Viewers don’t want this when, like stated above, we can get this on Facebook, twitter…just produce a 30 minute daytime drama…..start out small, see how many viewers you’d get and watch as smiles get plastered all across America and ABCs ratings go up and up….keep putting lame ass shows in this time slot and eventually, ABC will no longer exist…..

Still won’t tempt me to watch anything on ABC except for GH!!!!!!

AMEN TO THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If it’s like the one I’ve seen aired in my market…UGH! Shows no respect for loyal soap viewers over the years. And if cheaper production costs are a goal…well they got CHEAP!

this is dumb. i don’t see middle age women wanting to watch viral videos.

From bad (FabLife) to worse.

Actually, Right This Minute, is a newsie show, and doing very well.. it has a great following online, and TV.. It will do well..

It is not a matter of doing well, it is a matter that this is a show that basically recycles news from “what is trending?” It seems to be the premise of EVERY show like “The View,” “The Talk” “Meredith Vieira,” etc. I would like to see some originality. It would be nice to see another soap opera launched, but I do not think that is going to happen. I would prefer to see a game show than to see another mindless, cheap show with 4-5 panelists talking about today’s headlines.

From your mouth to the outer limits su

What is wrong with ABC, NO NO NO! Listen to your viewers, you guys just don’t get it.

I smell another massive failure.

ABC IS A FAILURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DEFINITELY WILL NEVER WATCH.

OK.. this funny !!!!

——— RightThisMinute’s shows a day and two half-hour shows for the weekend, 52 weeks a year, in a Phoenix building turned into a TV studio.

—“I don’t think anyone in TV syndication does that,”—– said Phil Alvidrez, RightThisMinute’s executive in charge of production and a former KTVK-TV Channel 3 news director.————

Besides the show’s fast expansion, it also has been beating top TV shows in the ratings. For example, on Sept. 6, RightThisMinute was the most-watched show all day on Channel 3, 5 and 15 locally for viewers 25-54 years old, according to Nielsen ratings. It regularly beats shows such as the Ellen DeGeneres Show, Dr. Oz Show and Katie Couric’s show in some markets.

NEW YORK (AP) — “Right This Minute” wants to save you time — the minutes and hours you might spend trolling the Internet for interesting new videos in a search you could never hope to get ahead of.

Instead, “Right This Minute” invites you to tear your eyes from your browser for this syndicated TV show (which, available in more than 90 percent of the United States, airs weekdays in two 30-minute blocks; check local listings).

Its mission: to unearth interesting stuff.

“We want to find a great video before 3 million people have seen it. We want to find it when 32 people have seen it,” says Beth Troutman, one of the show’s team of five co-hosts. “Then we add the journalism aspect: We don’t just show the video and laugh and point. We actually talk about the story and people behind it.”

“What we’ve tried to do is bridge the daytime TV audience with the hardcore I’m-on-YouTube-all-the-time world,” says Phil Alvidrez, “RTM” executive in charge of production.

The brisk format is simple: Hosts convene to share with one another (and the audience) videos they like, none of which their fellow panelists have seen until then.

Each of these laptop-equipped curators comes to the table having logged time plundering the web’s nooks and crannies — their efforts bolstered by a round-the-clock team of e-jays (as in “e-journalists”) — while also digging into details of who made a chosen video and why.

“We found a video where a baby cried when the mother sang to her,” says Alvidrez. “This one beautiful song elicited one particular reaction, and the dad picked up his camera and posted the video for friends. They never intended to be YouTube stars.”

Not only did “Right This Minute” bring this video to light before it went viral, he says, “but nobody else called the father except us. We like to find out, What were they thinking? Why would they do that? Who are they? Where?

“Even if a video is already well-known, you might learn something about it on our show that you wouldn’t have learned otherwise.”

Quietly tucked away in Phoenix, “RTM” is flourishing in its fourth season, averaging 6.6 million viewers per week and beating such stalwarts as “Dr. Oz” and “Rachael Ray” in household ratings.

“When you consider that there’s 100 hours of video being uploaded every minute onto YouTube, it’s a pretty big universe to try to make a splash in,” he adds. “RTM” is seeking splash-worthy videos. (And it welcomes viewers’ video submissions on its website.)

blah blah blah blah blah

how about that – right to this minute – thats what i think

Stop trying to stir up a hornets nest and rest your fingers. .no one on the boards has heard much about it. .there’s no great buzz surrounding it. .it’s TMZ like timmm said. .a literal televised you tube..not on my tv daily. .content and hosts. .forget it

How much is ABC paying you?

I’m sorry.. I am of now.. I go to the internet for shows..
It has a great following on line..
Facebook;
Facebook; ”Right This Minute”. 592733 likes · 14374 talking about this.

None, No , soap facebook carries close to those numbers, far from it actually.

I recall reading boards back when people needed to go Hulu to watch OLTL and AMC and a great many never even knew of Hulu or how to get there or use it, that is what is called a generation difference.. 🙂

Right This Minute has ”apps” hopefully all know what they are..
It really is popular, daytime TV is struggling and ABC was lucky to get it considering talk shows fail, it is different for daytime..

And it is time some realize that AMC and OLTL will never return, never.
The networks struggle to keep the soaps they have ..

luvs !!!

I think I just threw up in my mouth.

Seriously this country is (rhymes with clucked). Why have the masses become so freaking lazy?

Why do the masses lack the attention span to watch a brilliantly scripted TV show? Why do the masses spend hour upon hour watching the above-mentioned BS online?

Why are the Kardashians’ every move documented everywhere you go? Who cares?!

Why can’t the masses see the beauty in the world, in REAL people instead of this facade that is the majority of the garbage online? Do we really need anymore of this narcissistic entertainment?

The talent is in the CABLE shows and the internet soaps. I think once the soaps are gone that everyone of us that are complaining here would be best served to just turn off the network TV. Aside from the soaps, I only watch The Price is Right and primetime. I don’t care for sitcoms like I used to (with the exception of MIKE & MOLLY, but really just for Melissa McCarthy). There is nothing that compares to SEINFELD these days. The dramas are where the entertainment is.

Or read more books of all kinds from serious lit to light reading. Interesting to note that the Romance is one of the best-selling genre, and some of their authors are as prolific as James Patterson. They adapt over the years from incorporating mystery, crime, sci-fi, witches, to covers ranging from the cliche Scots in kilts, to firemen. Maybe the networks should talk to some of these authors about writing for them.

I dont watch abc. This is perfect for them. Cheap crap

I can surf the net and find viral videos all on my own thanks. I will end my post in my usual way….ONE LIFE TO LIVE V3 PLEASE.

Amen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just another reason why GH is not going anywhere. Every other new protect that ABC daytime has tried to develop since they got rid of OLTL has flopped in record time. The Revolution bombed out, as did the Katie Couric show, and now Fablife.

The View just had their least watched year ever and the show is a mess cause of the constant turnover in the panel while the Chew is a lousy lead-in for GH. ABC daytime is an absolute mess right now and the fact that GH can still draw three million viewers in a week is pretty impressive given the show lineup that preceeds it.

Bring back OLTL with Bo, Nora, Clint, and Vicky as the anchors. Easton, Archer, DePavia, and Alderson are all free to return as John, Natalie, Blair, and Starr. ABC needs to do whatever it takes to get OLTL back from PP.

Right This Minute is not a talk show and that is a good thing..

Amen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hell yes ! Love my OLTL characters especially Archer and Easton

So stuff culled from the internet that’s slapped on TV. Yeah, that’s so original.

OMG! My brain hurts just thinking about the lowest common denominator these idiots had to select in putting this show on as a replacement! God forbid they do a variation of a soap. Fools! This will be gone within the year.

Why can’t TPTB listen to what the daytime audience wants? Why can’t they create a show that is sort of a hybrid of all the soaps that are off the air? I can’t help thinking that if they put together a show that ran old soaps in 13-week cycles that they’s find which ones people really want back on the air and capitalize on that; not these insipid shows they keep putting on air. Give us our soaps!

hey Rodd..
Daytime tv is a dinosaur, a fossil of what was. ..
The networks are not going to put money into any more soaps, not going to happen
Daytime TV is junk tv, soon it will be hanging onto just enough to survive then Daytime will go psy tv to survive.

It makes no difference what an audience wants when it come to daytime it is going to be about survival and they will show the least expensive to produce and pay for..
Daytime is doomed, it’s just a matter of time until the junk piles up … LOL :)..

The soaps we have now, are the last..
Soaps are becoming extinct, they are on the endangered species list .. LOL

if you don’t like soaps, then why are you on this website???

go back to the bridge (you troll) and bother someone else.

Do people watch this? I am so tired of videos on TV–it’s too much. I watch a few here and there on the computer, but I choose them and if I don’t like them, I can turn it off. I’m certainly not going to watch this show. Whatev.

I don’t know, but it currently airs at 4:00 a.m. on my NBC affiliate.

enough is enough…. abc – what are you thinking… you are ignoring what is right under your nose. soaps will help you restore your daytime lineup, this”right to this minute” will encourage everyone to abandon their tv and use their laptop and tablets and totally eliminate abc from their day…..

oh well I guess this is how the folks on the ‘Titanic” felt when the band kept playing …as they sunk deeper and deeper.

OMG. Fire everyone at ABC.

The problem is that soaps are just not as profitable as they used to be. Its not because of the viewership because Y&R is actually the highest viewed show in daytime. All other soaps have more viewers than most of the other daytime shows.

However, soaps are more expensive to produce so they make less money than those other talk shows, regardless of viewers. Even if this new show gets half or a quarter of the viewers of any of the soaps, it will still make twice as much money because it costs nothing to produce. One set with 5 or 6 hosts who probably make less than a newbie soap star?

I think they should start replaying popular soaps that have gone off the air like Another World or Santa Barbara or Ryan’s Hope like other syndicated shows. Costs would be minimal and they would probably get the same viewership of a talk show so it would be profitable.

Does this mean ABC/D are losing money in that time slot? If so, they deserve it.

Another one bites the dust!!!!! You still don’t get it, ABC/Disney? That’s ok! We’ve got more. Just keep ’em coming and we’ll keep doin’ it. ALL MY CHILDREN AND ONE LIFE TO LIVE FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! boom boom boom – another one bites the dust – and another one gone and another one gone – another one bites the dust – boom boom BOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This currently airs at 4:00 am on my NBC affiliate.

H-u-h?!?!? OK…you know what??? VH-1 Classic’s Morning Video Block and (my personal FAVE!!!!!) Totally ’80s is basically video enough for me!!!!! Furthermore, if I wanna watch something else video-themed (or whatever), I’ll watch it on YouTube or I’ll watch America’s Funniest Home Videos on Sunday nights. As for this Right This Minute junk-fest…n-o-p-e. Pass. Next……….

put any soap back on please no viral video another failure for abc

Sounds like “The Daily Share” that replaced News on the HeadLine News network in the afternoons. As has been said…cheap crap.

Not another panel of people. Pick up a comedy show!

Right this minute is the most stupid show I have ever seen

I felt fab life was so fake and the cast was also fake and impersonal. The Chew is successful because they have a great rapport and seem to genuinely love each other. I have nothing against someone gay, but the one guy was over the top. They also seemed to have no domestic or cooking skills. They just seemed so dumb. I wanted to smack them all the time for their stupidity. Good luck guys but this was not your calling.

Deidre Hall Marks 50 Years as ‘Days of Our Lives’ Dr. Marlena Evans

Published

on

By

If you have ever tuned-in to the soap opera genre over the last 50 years, and witnessed some of the greatest romances, drama, classic and outlandish storylines of all-time, you would have seen Deidre Hall smack dab in the middle of it as longtime Salem heroine, Dr. Marlena Evans.

It was 50 years on this date, June 21, 1976 that Hall first appeared on DAYS on NBC which was its home for 57 years before it moved to its current streaming platform on Peacock in September of 2022.

In Hall’s first episode she was introduced as a psychiatrist treating Mickey Horton (John Clarke) at Bayview Sanitarium after he suffered a complete mental breakdown. Mickey learned that his brother Bill Horton (Edward Mallory) was the biological son of Mike Horton (Wesley Eure) with his wife Laura (Susan Flannery) and that he had been lied to for years and years. From that moment on, the rest is television and soap opera history. Days of Our Lives put Hall front and center.

Photo: NBC

There were so many heartbreaking and shocking story twists involving the beloved Marlena. One of the first was the historic crib death of baby DJ (Don Jr.) in 1980, Marlena’s infant son with Don Craig (Jed Allan). The story had never been told on daytime television and Hall’s performances received accolades from TV critics to fans when Deidre received thousands of letters from grieving mothers who had gone through the same thing in their own lives.

DAYS also brought Deidre’s twin sister, Andrea Hall Lovell to the show as her on-screen sister Samantha, who had a grudge and even locked Marlena up in a sanitarium and took her place! Fast-forward and in 1982, DAYS launched the Salem Strangler story where everyone believed Marlena was his next victim, only it turned out to be Samatha. Jake Kositchek (played by Jack Coleman) was revealed to be the actual serial killer.

Later, Deidre would assume the role of Marlena’s look-alike, Hattie Adams in 2004, once played by her sister, Andrea. Over the years, Hattie has come back to Salem and caused trouble giving Hall a chance to play a different type of character, then the always upstanding Marlena.

Photo: JPI

THE LOVES OF MARLENA

Deidre Hall struck gold with all her leading men: from the late Jed Allan, to Wayne Northrop as Roman Brady, and of course, her enduring love story with the late John Black played by the iconic Drake Hogestyn. In fact, Marlena’s 1986 wedding to John (who was believed to be Roman at the time) remains a favorite of fans to this day.

TOP MARLENA STORYLINES OF ALL-TIME

While the list is long, here are several that were some of the memorable during Deidre’s five decades in Salem!

The Possession (1994- 1995)
Considered one of the most ambiguous, outlandish and unforgettable story arcs in soap opera history, then Days of Our Lives head writer, James Reilly went there! Marlena was possessed by the devil! That included; the demonic eyes, hissing at father John (Black) the priest, morphing into creatures, and the classic levitating in her bed! It became a cultural phenomenon and cemented Deidre Hall’s status as a daytime television legend. Just ask Ryan Gosling!

Photo:JPI

The Affair with John Black (1993)
John and Marlena’s forbidden love could not be denied and they had passionate affair, while she was still married to the real Roman. Problem was her daughter, Sami (Alison Sweeney) caught her mother having sex with John on a desk that changed Sami forever.

The Salem Stalker Mystery (2003-2004)
In a shocker, Marlena was revealed to be a serial killer who bumped off several Salem favorites residents who were all alive on the island of Melaswen (spelled “New Salem” backward). Turns out, she was manipulated and gaslighted by Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) to do the “killings” and had no memory of her actions.

The Pier Scene (1991)
This remains Michael Fairman TV’s all-time favorite Deidre Hall moment, which featured some of the best acting in the storied careers of both Hall and Drake Hogestyn.

In the story, a presumed-dead Marlena returns after four years. One foggy night on the pier, John is alone, and Marlena steps out of the fog to reveal herself, and is reunited with the love of her life. You can watch it any year, any decade, and in any moment, and it will have you reaching for the hankies again and again. (best music score fo a soap scene of all-time too!)

Photo: NBC

Kristen’s Secret Room Reveal (1997)
Marlena was caught in Kristen Blake’s (Eileen Davidson) elaborate web of lies, when she was held hostage in a secret wine cellar/room until John managed to track her down, leading to an iconic on-screen reunion. The classic catfight between Hall and Eileen Davidson was one for the ages.

It should be noted that Maison Blanche, Queen of the Night, Possession, Aremid and Lady in a Cage were all a part of classic DAYS storyline and all featured Hall at the epicenter of it from 1993-1996.

THE RECENT YEARS OF MARLENA

In recent years, DAYS brought back the possession 2.0 storyline under then head writer Ron Carlivati in 2021 where the devil leapt back in Marlena after taking advantage of a frail Doug Williams (the late Bill Hayes)

In 2025, viewers watched the end of the love story of John and Marlena, as John succumbed to injuries sustained in an explosion saving a vial of medication needed to bring Bo (Peter Reckell) back to life. Marlena has been a widow on-screen since June of 2025 as Hall as portrayed the good doctor struggling with her grief and to move on with her life since his death.

Photo: JPI

One story that never goes away is Stefano DiMera’s (the late Joe Mascolo) obsession with Marlena, his “Queen of the Night.” Even in death, Stefano is toying with her from the great beyond with the mysterious chess set and the missing “pawn,” that he had gifted John and Marlena in his will. The mystery is currently unfolding on all-new episodes of Days of Our Lives.

Tune-in to Days of our Lives on the Monday, June 22 episode as Marlena looks back at her 50 years in Salem.

Share your congratulations to Deidre Hall for this incredible 50-year milestone as Dr. Marlena Evans on Days of Our Lives in the comment section. Then let us know, what is your all-time favorite storyline or moment in the life of Marlena over the past 5 decades? And, just for kicks, and to celebrate this amazing milestone, here is Marlena levitating below circa Christmas Eve 1994.

Maurice Benard Gives High Praise to ‘General Hospital’ Writers; Teases Upcoming Sonny Scenes with Anna, Jason, Justine and Ric

Published

on

By

With the highly-anticipated returns of Finola Hughes (Anna Devane) on this week’s June 24 episode of General Hospital, Steve Burton’s (Jason Morgan) upcoming return on July 13, which also serves as the ABC daytime drama’s 16,000 episode, things are about to fire on all cylinders in the story, as noted today by series star, Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos).

On Father’s Day, the three-time Daytime Emmy-winning actor and mental health activist took to his Instagram and expressed in a video that he has some unbelievable upcoming senes with the aforementioned Burton and Hughes. Add to that Nazneen Contractor (Justine Turner) and Rick Hearst (Ric Lansing), where Benard gave credit where credit is due to the GH writing team, which is led by co-head writers, Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten..

In this video, Benard said, “I just want to get on here and say that I did some work with Steve Burton, Finola Hughes, Rick Hearst, Nazneen Contractor, and they’re all just fantastic. Truly fantastic. But, I want to say the writing was just exceptional. It truly was. It was exceptional. So, thankful for that kind of writing. I know writers don’t get the credit a lot, but I just want to say to the General Hospital writing team, keep rolling!”

GENERAL HOSPITAL PREVIEW

So now the question becomes, with a major tease like that, what is about to go down between Sonny, Anna, Jason, Justine and Ric? Will we finally get to the end of the line for Sidwell (Carlo Rota), as previously teased by the GH co-head writers? Will we learn what happened to Jason and Anna, fully? Will Justine and Sonny becomes closer or stop their liaisons? And what of Ric? Will he be true blue to his brother or double-cross him? There is a lot at stake as we move further into the summer and one that looks like it could be one of the more exciting ones in years!

FINOLA HUGHES CONFIRMED AMAZING SCENES WITH MAURICE BENARD

As a punctuation point to his video, Benard also shared this written message in the post: “I just did some wonderful scenes with Steve Burton, Rick Hearst, Finola Hughes and Nazneen Contractor and  and unbelievable writing, freaking amazing scenes that you will see in the near future on General Hospital.” In fact, Finola Hughes jumped in the post comment thread and responded, “I loved our scenes so much xxx”

Fans will most likely see all the scenes Benard referred to later in July, since GH tapes approximately six weeks ahead of air.

So, are you excited to see what Maurice is talking about? Are you hyped for what’s to come on GH? Any clue on what you think will go down between the main characters on the soap with the returns of Anna Devane and Jason Morgan to the mix? Weigh-in via the comment section below.
