I enjoyed the episode, especially the scene where Victor Jr slams Todd against the wall and they start brawling. The only thing I didn’t like was the reaction from Vicki, Blair, Clint, and everyone else present. I was expecting more emotion, but glad he’s back on the show. This will be very interesting to see these two go at each other. Prospect Park did a good job keeping his return a secret, and I know that there will be more great episodes to come. We have to give it time, but so far, I do like what I see.

The reason why there was no reaction is because everyone wishes he was dead, except my sweet Tea.

#TeamTodd

Loved it! It was great the see the reunion between Victor and Tea.

Today’s episode was fantastic. It was amazing to watch all the emotions that played out with all the reveals today . The show is hitting all the right beats, and it’s great to see the fallout that’s just starting. Can’t wait for tomorrow’s show .

I watched half at work, I’m going to watch the rest at home.. that way it’ll count as 2 unique hits, more ratings for the show!

It was nice seeing Tea back w/ Victor, she seemed so lost and lonely without him. I think it’s going to be revealed that Victor was brainwashed by Allison Perkins for the year, so while he’s back, he’s gonna be up to some stuff.

Can’t stand Jack! I’ve gotten over the kid who plays him acting.. I just can’t stand Jack in general. We are two shows in, still great.. can’t wait to watch the rest at home.. can’t wait to see how Victor v. Todd plays out.

Question: Now that Victor is essentially broke, what is he going to do for a living? All the money was left to Todd, so Victor isn’t entitlted to any.. unless Irene had some money that goes to him.

LOVE IT.. LOVE IT!!!!

LOVED IT! What a surprise to see Trevor St John! I am thrilled he has returned and hope it’s long term. Can’t wait to see the battle between Todd & Victor. Victor and Tea were my favorite couple on the show!

I am delighted that One Life to Live is back. Great seeing my faves: Viki & Clint, Dorian & David, and, of course Blair & Todd!!! I thought seeing that Victor was indeed alive would be more of a shock to everyone. They seemed nonchalant about it, though. All in all, a good episode. Also, during the first two minutes of OLTL, the episode “pixilated” for a few moments, froze, and then my computer crashed. It managed to recover itself, but I wonder did anyone else experience this? Thanks.

mine froze as well, I went back to restart the episode, it picked up where it froze and all was fine

I enjoyed it…love seeing the two brothers together. But Blair and Viki did not seem to react when learning about Victor. What was that all about?

Yeah, that’s the only thing that kinda through me off….no one seemed to have a reaction, with the exception of Tea, about Victor’s return. I know that the 30 minute format means that things have to move along at a faster pace, but I wouldn’t mind if they slowed it down a bit and focused on the impact of his return…..it affects so many people, so they really could have spent most of the episode at the hospital and dealt with that story. I know they will get in the groove of things and I will never stop watching…but I just want them to slow down a bit and let us enjoy some of the moments. Granted this comment comes on day two, so there’s still so much ground for them to cover. I just don’t want them to feel like they have to cover it all in the first week. We die hard fans aren’t going anywhere….LOL

My thoughts are the same. This scene seemed unreal to me. More reaction to a person standing there alive, who was thought dead was needed.

And turn down the music during the Shelter scenes… we can hardly hear the dialogue !!!!

Agree.. was not too impressed by finding out that he is still alive. . i may watch it again and see if i missed something .. but disappointed and thet ultimately come from poor directing… I would have thought they would have had their A game on .. esp during the first week of shows.

Glad to see theres alot of Vicki, Dorian and Clint.

Somewhat surprised that the reveal of Victor came so fast… and that there wasn’t much reaction to it…

(Technical Note – Hulu Plus did not load the program immediately. had to wait five minutes. This happened on Roku box, Ipad and Iphone)

I totally agree..like why weren’t more people shocked at his return. Or asking where the hell he’s been. That was odd. I did think though…if it was still airing on network TV Victor would have lurked around corners for a good month before his reveal so that was nice. I’lI watch to see what happens, but I have to say that I think the acting is bordering on cheesey. They actors just seem to be acting different. Is it just me?? Also I hate the opening sequence. It’s REAL cheese.

All kinds of awesome – I really didn’t think everybody was going to see Victor so soon! Todd&Victor fight, Tea&Victor reunion, I cannot wait until little Sam sees his daddy! Tomorrow, I hope! David Vickers is always hilarious, and I always love seeing Vicki&Dorian go toe-to-toe. I like the new Destiny, she’s got sass. I like Jeffrey, too (“she likes me” LOL) Tune in tomorrow!

Oh, and I’m watching on Hulu for now.

Everyone please forgive my supidity where technology is concerned, BUT, is the only way to watch OLTL or AMC is to pay $7.99 month for hulu plus? Or is there another way? Thanks for helping an old techno challenged fan!!

If you have a computer type Hulu.com. If you can’t get it see if you can download Chrome.com

I’ve watched both shows on the free Hulu. Just go to hulu.com. Both shows are listed on the first page. Click on what you want to see and just watch. It didn’t cost me a cent. The commercials are short and I did not find them distracting. I think you don’t get commercials on the paid Hulu but I could be wrong about that. My understanding is episodes will remain available for viewing on free Hulu for 10 days. They will be available indefinitely on Hulu Plus and iTunes. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

There’s regular Hulu and there’s Hulu Plus.. regular Hulu is FREE, Hulu Plus is $7.99/month. The difference is regular Hulu has commericials, Hulu Plus doesn’t.

you can watch on hulu.com for free

Are you trying to watch on a computer/laptop, smartphone or tablet?

Watch the video in the upper right hand corner. It tells you that you can watch it for free on Hulu.com which is different than regular Hulu or Hulu plus.

If you have internet, just go to hulu.com Right now they have the shows prominently displayed; just click on them. If they aren’t displayed, just type in All My Children or One Life to Live.

Hi Deborah… you can watch those and many more by just having Hulu for free. You can watch GH or DOOL the next day on Hulu too! Very easy to do. Anyone will be glad to help if you post. Good luck and enjoy!

Forgot to say you watch it on your computer or tablet. If you want to watch on your TV you need Hulu Plus for the fee and a Roku device… I believe… I don’t watch on a TV so I am not 100% sure.

You can watch on regular Hulu but you have to watch more commercials.
Hulu Plus has less commercials and the episodes are available longer.

You can watch both shows on regular Hulu for free

it works from Safari browser too. http://www.Hulu.com and sometimes it just shows up as a One Life to Live image and title, otherwise just type in the name in the search box. You do not need to sign in to watch it or any other show.

it’s also for sale (download) at iTunes, TV Shows tab. 99cents if you want single episodes, or buy a multi pass and get 20 shows for $9.99… if you download it to your itunes, each episode takes up about 300 mbs of space! You can also have it saved to a cloud and share it on all your computer devices.

Sadie, I had issues with Hulu.com this morning also. Froze up,then told me I was using a pop up blocker…which I’m not! I am enjoying having OLTL back but will reserve judgment on the story lines for now! 🙂

Thanks for the response. Yesterday, Hulu would not let me continue until I removed a pop up blocker (which I thought was already disabled). Maybe they’re working out a few system “bugs”. I watched All My Children with no incidents, though. Strange!

Yeah, I thought it strange also since I do not have a popup blocker other than my browser and it did not respond with it’s usual “Would you like to allow popups for this site?” I waited a bit and tried again with no problems. Will see what tomorrow holds! 🙂

Great show, even better than yesterday. Love it all 😀

awesome, loved it! love that tsj is back

I’m reserving judgement. There are things that I don’t like which I’m hoping they’ll fix. If not, I’ll probably end up cancelling my Hulu Plus at the end of May and just read the recaps.

LOVE IT!!!!!!!

I loved it. I was shocked that Victor showed himself so soon. I expected him to remain in the shadows longer and reveal himself on Thursday’s episode. Maybe this means things will move a little faster on this version. Either way, I’m thrilled that Victor is back. Poor Tea looked so broken and lost yesterday while she was in the nursery. I am surprised no one fainted in the waiting room when they saw Victor. The embrace between Victor and Jack was wonderful. “Take that Scarface.”

I loved it when Blair told Todd she is sick of him taking out his frustrations on her. The Viki and Dorian scenes were wonderful as usual. I like the interaction between Matthew and Destiny and Matthew and Clint. I’m just so happy. We’ve got our people back!!!!!!!!!! Can’t wait until tomorrow.

I loved TSJ and RH, Victor and Todd together..
If eyes could kill, they both would be dead ..

I love being able to see OLTL again! I missed it so much!! It was a little weird that Tea was the only one who seemed shocked to see Victor. However, I don’t care, just keep OLTL coming. I can’t get enough!!

Love it – watching on HULU, it’s free!!!!

Today’s episode was even better than yesterday’s. Loved it!

During today’s episode, several things occurred to me:

1. I can see OLTL inspiring a drinking game every time the “s” word is uttered, seems to be employed pretty often so far.
2. With the appearance of Victor, I am hopeful the OLTL opening used thus far is a temporary one so as not to spoil Victor being alive. Here’s hoping we get a new one that includes Victor and matches the production value of the rest of the show.

It was a great episode. Great to see Trevor/Victor.

I was sort of expecting Victor to hide out from everyone for a bit so I was surprised when he went at Todd in front of everyone. I am also surprised that only Tea and Jack had any sort of reaction to Victor being back from the dead. Hoping he gets more reactions tomorrow.

Great episode, I’m loving this!

The writing and production values are on par with Cartini! Marin Gazzaniga’s script was great; sign her up for more. The Destiny recast is a bit too much to swallow, given the prior actress was short, tubby and mousy. OLTL reboot has a superior cast to AMC. Have to say I’m hooked already. I hope they keep it edgy and sophisticated. Dorian has been amazing. I love how everyone drinks alot just like the headwriters!

You’ve got to be kidding about the writing. Have you ever watched a soap before? It’s obvious this Gazzaniga person hasn’t. No idea where she came from — probably one of Kwatinetz’s “brilliant discoveries” — but she needs to go back there and turn her typewriter over to someone who knows how to write. Llanview and Port Charles aren’t “thousands of miles apart” as she had Todd say, and Victors response when asked how he’s alive? “just let it be enough that I am”, or whatever. WTF?! Overall awful dialogue, and her episode today wasn’t any better. When in doubt, just have someone say “shit”, preferably right to Viki’s face, whenever possible. If this is going to be representative of the “quality” of writing on the show, count me out.

The second episode of OLTL surprised me that we did not learn more about what happened with Victor. Todd is being shot a lot with no dialogue as is Victor… while I understnd everyone’s confusion… I share it… we spent way to much time looking at each other and not saying anything. Hope tomorrow’s episode has people speaking about where he came from. I realize and appreciate that everyone was and should be concerned about Dani… but share with us what has happened to have him there. Happy there was less Shelter on… but did not like any of the time spent there and would have appreciated more dialogue from Victor, Todd and Tea. Hopefully we will get some tomorrow or Thursday. Love having TSJ on!!!

I loved Victor slamming Todd (who has appeared nothing but bored, annoyed, or superior. Why is he he there if he doesn’t want to be there? They can’t be paying him -that- much) into the wall, Téa and Victor’s reunion, Victor interacting with Jack (AJT is adorable, but he still needs major coaching), and Florencia Lozano being amazing, as she always is.
The lack of reaction at Victor’s return from everyone but Téa and Jack was very disappointing, and I hope that the power games and bullshit of the “queen” will not be present in the PP version (although my hopes are dwindling with today’s episode).
The new Destiny is pretty, but that’s all that I can say that is both true and flattering. I don’t buy that a young man who wants to impress Dame Viki and get a job would say “no shit” to her; that was just unrealistic.
Overall, I’m going to need more story, and I hope we’ll be seeing that.

Liked it much better than yesterday. I will continue to watch. Always loved the battles between Vickie and Dorian. I love watching both soaps on my iPad with huluplus. Today ,connected the iPad to my television with a hdmi cable to view on a larger screen.

I have to admit that I am afraid to say one critical thing about the show because I am just so damn happy they’re back! I have some minor criticisms that I hope they work out over the next few episodes; like the audio at Shelter (don’t want to hear everyone’s high heels when there’s music playing), uneven acting, the seemingly lack of response when people saw Victor for the first time (the silence was deafening and didn’t sell any kind of shock).

I believe that these little things are going to work themselves out in time and I will be glued to my computer monitor every day watching.

Via la ONE LIFE TO LIVE!

you’re not alone with those feelings… we’re glad they’re back, but….

those Shelter scenes and the lack of reactions when Victor showed up… well, hate to say it but it just put me off. I didn’t bother watching yesterday’s show and will probably just wait intil the weekend to catch up. Certainly not clamoring to get to my computer to watch the next episode.

I thought for sure they’d bring it on for the first week or two, more like GH did for their 50th Anniversary. For GH, I was like more, more, more. OLTL, I’m like. Ok, they’re back. I’ll catch ’em later.

but I’ve got iTunes saving the episodes just the same… I’ll save them at least until Roger Howarth is gone.

Loved it. Was looking forward to two things. Victor and Tea’s reunion and next Victor and Dani. Both needed to see him about evenly. I too am surprised that it didn’t drag out. If this were on a network, there would be about 3 or 4 close calls and after a few weeks a Friday cliffhanger of Victor finally being seen by someone.

Deborah hulu plus charges a monthly fee. Hulu.com is free

Loved it!!!! Victor & Tea!!!!!!!!! Victor &Tea!!!!!!!! Victor&Tea!!!!!!!!!! WOO HOOO. VICTOR & TEA are just swoon worthy. YEAH TO VICTOR & TEA!!!!!!!!

I LIKE IT SO FAR, BUT VICTOR CAME BACK WAY TO SOON…AND IT SEEMED LIKE IT DID NOT SHOCK ANYONE…. WE DID LAST SEE HIM WITH ALLISON PERKINS SO I WOULD LIKE TO HOW HE GOT AWAY? AND WHAT IT WAS ALL ABOUT … I HOPE YOU FILL IN THE BLANKS,…. AND I WISH THEY WOULD KEEP TODD ON BOTH OLTL AND GH….

Today and yesterday were better than I could have hopede for the actors the drama amazing!.. I am so happy my show is bvack. Yesterday’s AMC was harder to follow with all the older children I will try again today but OLTL no problems at all it was stellar. Thank YOU cast and crew for coming back!

Absolutely LOVED seeing Victor and Todd face off.

It was just awesome!! I can not wait for the next episode!!! Can’t wait to see More of the Real Todd Manning Trevor St John!

I see several fans referring to Trevor as “the real Todd Mannaing”. Is that because he’s the only Todd you’ve known, or because you prefer him over Roger Howarth, or because you’ve heard some scoop?

I remember when Todd first showed up on OLTL and it was Roger. He came and went a couple times, but Todd was portrayed for year and years by Roger, Then when he left and they recast and got Trevor who was Walker Laurence and then Todd. And then when Trevor announced he was leaving and then they got Roger to come back, they made up that whole thing about what Irene did to them and one was the real Todd (Roger Howarth) and the other was Victor Jr. (Trevor St. John).

I am curious as to why most of the cast had a muted reaction to Victor’s return; it was honestly anticlimactic after the finale’s cliffhanger. Michael? Any thoughts?

Great epi. I love having Victor back. Who needs ABC?!

Well, I am truly amazed at how well done the show is for the minimal amount of time it’s been in production.
My hats off to the props and set design folks.
Nice to see Gary Donatella in the spotlight.

Did not enjoy the swearing. Especially coming from Blair. Lol.

Robin Strasser looks amaz!

Ep. 2 was terrific. Loved Blair calling Todd an asshole! So true to life. Network TV better look out, after only two episodes, OLTL and AMC are better than anything on network daytime. I hope PP is looking to bring back more of actors from the network versions. My 2 cents.

Loved the second episode more than the first one! I loved the Victor and Tea scenes. Though Vicki would have had more of reaction to see Victor. I thought the Matthew and Destiny scenes were genuine and very needed. I think the s word is used way to often. And i really hope TSJ sticks around for a long time to come! Great job Prospect Park keep it up!!!

Same here, Connie. Loved Victor with Tea and especially his tenderness with Jack. However, I was dumbfounded that there wasn’t a big reaction/reunion with Viki. They were so close… I hope this is remedied soon!

Biggest wish though is that TSJ is under contract and will stay. 🙂

Great day today!

How I wish Van Hansis, Eric Sheffer Stevens, and Jake Silbermann would be in this soap. It doesn’t matter what character they play or whether they are paired off together or with some other character. It also doesn’t matter what the sexual orientation of their character is. I just miss them on my TV screen. I also miss Austin, Terri, Trent, Ewa and Colleen. Oh! I miss so many of the ATWT characters including Jack, Carly, Dr. Bob Hughes, Holden, Lily, Lucinda, Casey, Maddie, Ali, officer Margo, Nathalie and Ethan. Will I ever get to see these awesome actors and characters on TV again or will it remain just a dream. Sigh! And, how I wish they would bring back the characters of Kyle Lewis and Oliver Fish; they could be shown raising their daughter, Sierra Rose, who must be entering pre-school.

OLTL is awesome once again. I am just so happy to have them back. Congratulations to the cast and crew on doing such a wondwrful job. So far so good. Loving it!

Love it!

well, I was glad to see more of the Lord/Manning brothers, but I’d say epic fail on the lack of reactions to Victor being alive! what is up with that? Tea had good reaction, but I have seen the ladies of Llanview have much more serious reactions and shock to other things… and 2 newspaper people in the room and neither of them, especially Viki, were asking the questions you would have: who, what, where, when, why, or how?

Who is that?
oh, that’s my brother Victor that we all that my brother Todd shot dead about 2 years ago.
What? So everyone knew he was alive?
no. he just showed up here.
Well, why are all of you acting like it’s no big deal!!?
What happened to him? Where has he been all this time?
i dunno.

just plain ‘out of character’ for all those characters. no reaction, except some from Tea.

bad form.

oh, also, after the first episode watching the Shelter scene… OLTL is sorely missing those Vega brothers! Antonio dancing there would be HOT!

Loved episode 2. I agree that there was a lack of reaction to seeing Victor, except for Tea, who played it well. I’m watching on TV on Hulu plus via Apple TV. They have to work on those opening credits though.

I enjoyed todays show more than yesterdays. I didn’t like that there was really no shock from the characters to Victor being alive. Maybe there is more to the story that will explan that but still. Sill really too early to decide on if the storylines are going to be good but they are off to an ok start

Love it , viki and Dorian. I felt bad for Todd but OLTL doesn’t have the preview for the next show like AMC

I’m a long time watcher of OLTL, and was excited to see it come back. I’ll give it more time, but it feels like they are trying to hard to be ‘edgy’. Multiple shots of Natalie in her bra, then she strips and lays down on the couch (shoes still on though). I also think that they put too much cussing in the show.

I’ll give it time, but I’m just a bit disappointed in those things so far. Love having it back though.

ANita

“…eels like they are trying to hard to be ‘edgy’. ”

apparently they haven’t heard what happened to JCPenney when they tried to be edgy….. they lost a LOT of customers and now have fired that “edgy” CEO and are going back to the old ways of advertising and they former logo and asking customers to come back.

‘Brilliant Minds’ Officially Canceled After 2 Seasons at NBC; DAYS Alum Al Calderon, OLTL Alum Teddy Sears and Zachary Quinto Among the Cast

Published

By

After languishing on the bubble for months, on Friday, NBC handed down the decision and canceled the medical drama Brilliant Minds after two seasons.

Brilliant Minds stars Zachary Quinto as neurology physician Oliver Wolf, who’s character and the series is inspired by the life and books of neurologist. Oliver Sacks. The series focuses on the medical mysteries of the mind, as Wolf a larger-than-life neurologist and his team of interns explore the last great frontier, the human mind, while grappling with their own relationships and mental health.

The final six episodes of what will now be the end of its second and final season were already set to air beginning on May 27, after being pulled off the network schedule in February as viewership saw a steep decline. Brilliant Minds second season became the lowest-rated drama on linear TV viewing, which didn’t bode well fo a network renewal, although it had its hard core fan base.

Photo: NBC

There are some exceptional notables in the cast along with the talented Quinto that includes Days of Our Lives alum, Al Calderon (ex-Javi Hernandez) who joined the series in its second season as Nurse Nico Silva, and One Life to Live alum, Teddy Sears (ex-Chad Bennett) who plays Wolf’s love interest and fellow physician, Dr. Josh Nichols.

The rest of the talented cast includes: Tamberla Perry, Ashleigh LaThrop, Alex MacNicoll, Aury Krebs, Spence Moore II, Donna Murphy, John Clarence Stewart, and Brian Altemus.

In an ironic twist of fate on Thursday, April 30, Days of Our Lives finally revealed the actor who was Al Calderon’s successor in the role of Javi, when they announced that actor Jacob Martinez had now stepped into the role. Since DAYS tapes ten months ahead of streaming new episode, Calderon left in the spring of 2025, but will be seen in the part for the final part this month, and then on June 20, Martinez debuts as Salem’s new Javi.

Taking to his Instagram with a sorrowful and heartfelt post on the Brilliant Minds cancellation was Teddy Sears who wrote, “Thank you, Brilliant Minds. I got the call today and I didn’t want to hear, but I knew that it would come, You have to be a particular vintage to quote Don Henley from memory, but that’s the line that came to mind earlier today after I got off the phone with our inimitable showrunner Michael Grassi who delivered the news that NBC has cancelled the series”.

Photo: NBC

Sears continued, “To say that I feel sad to be moving on from these stories, this character, and this cast and crew just doesn’t paint the entire picture. I’m sad, sure. But I’m also deeply grateful that I got hired to play this part, so proud of the stories we told, and the other actors I got to play alongside. I’m excited to see what comes next, what adventures await, and terrified to be without a professional home. A quick and heartfelt thank you to everyone, all over the globe, who found us and found themselves in us, in our characters and in our stories. We wouldn’t have been able to tell them without you. And we still have 6 fresh episodes yet to air, and I do hope you tune in enjoy the remainder of the series. They’re the best we’ve done.”

As he wrapped up his sentiments, Sears signed off with, “The more I know, the less I understand. All the things I figured out I have to learn again. I’ve been trying to get down to the heart of the matter. But everything changes…Thank you, Brilliant Minds.”

The medical drama was created and executive produced by Michael Grassi alongside Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Leigh London Redman, Lee Toland Krieger, DeMane Davis, Jasmine Russ, Henrik Bastin, Jonathan Cavendish, Andy Serkis and Shefali Malhoutra.

On the heels of the news that he is set to debut this month in the role of Joe Fitzpatrick on General Hospital, who is rumored to be a new love interest for Lucas Jones (Van Hansis), comes the news that Bennett’s reality series, Finding Mr. Christmas has received 3 nomination for the Critics Choice Real TV Awards.

Bennett’s Hallmark Channel series finds itself in tough competition alongside fellow nominees: RuPaul’s Drag Race (MTV), Squid Game: The Challenge (Netflix), Survivor 50 (CBS), Top Chef (Bravo) and The Traitors (Peacock). In addition, Jonathan himself is nominated for Best Show Host and the series participants as the Best Ensemble Cast in an Unscripted Series.

The Critics Choice Association (CCA) revealed the nominees for the eighth annual Critics Choice Real TV Awards on Thursday, which recognize excellence in nonfiction, unscripted and reality programming across broadcast, cable and streaming platforms. Winners will be announced online at CriticsChoice.com on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 9:00am PT/12:00pm ET.

Taking to his Instagram to celebrate the nominations, GH’s Bennett, enthused, “3 Critic Choice Nominations! I’m so proud of the FINDING MR CHRISTMAS and to be in the company of all the legends in all these categories is so surreal! Congrats to Hallmark Channel and to our nominated cast and nominated show and everyone who made this magical show possible. This is crazy! This gives FMC 6 Critics Choice nominations in 2 years. Not bad for a little show on Hallmark Channel. What are your thoughts on our show?” Jumping first into the comment thread was one of his new GH co-stars, Dominic Zamprogna (Dante) who expressed, “Yeah buddy!!!🔥🔥”

In the series, Bennett, the host and co-creator spends eight weeks guiding 10 aspiring actors through a series of “festive face-offs” and acting challenges alongside actors like soap opera notables, Hunter King (ex-Summer, Y&R) and Alison Sweeney (Sami, DAYS). Along the way, they develop their skills and a bond with one another. The show, which is available on Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Plus, highlights LGBTQ+ representation with openly gay contestants vying to be the next Hallmark star.

It should be noted that Traitors received the most Critics Choice Real TV Award nominations with 6 nods, followed by Dancing with the Stars with 4.

Bennett is very familiar to daytime fans having started his career as JR Chandler on All My Children in 2000-2001, before landing the part of Aaron Samuels in the motion picture, Mean Girls in 2004 starring Lindsay Lohan, which would become his breakout performance.

‘General Hospital’s’ Kelly Thiebaud on Britt and Cassius Sibling Drama, But Who Will Ultimately Blow His Cover?

Published

on

By

On the April 30 episode of General Hospital, Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) had some choice words and warning for her brother Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) who has been masquerading as his twin, the very dead, Nathan West.

As the story has unfolded, viewers learned that Britt knew all along that when “Nathan” showed up in Port Charles seemingly resurrected with a missing 7 years of his life unexplained, that Cassius was taking his place.

Now in developments on today’s GH, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is figuring out that this guy pretending to be Nathan is someone else, and Cassius learns from Britt, that Joss is not just a ditzy sorority girl as he claimed, but a WSB agent! The moment stuns Cassius. Are the walls about to close in on him and his charade?

Courtesy/ABC

Daytime Emmy winner, Kelly Thiebaud spoke to Soap Opera Digest, about the story point and getting the opportunity this time back at GH to work with Ryan Paevey, when she hadn’t had the chance to before.

BROTHERLY LOVE?

Thiebaud expressed on sharing scenes with Ryan Paevey, “It’s just been so wonderful to have him back and to actually work with him! When he first came onto the show (as Nathan at the end of 2013) I was kind of heading out — it was right towards the end of my contract, so we didn’t actually work together a ton. It’s been really refreshing and so much fun to really spend time together and get to know each other and work together. I think we have really great on-camera chemistry and banter with each other. I really enjoy working with him.”

With the stakes at an all-time, Thiebaud explained how she views her on-screen alter-ego’s involvement with her more hot-to-temper sibling and why Britt revealed the truth about Josslyn to him. “People finding out about Cassius would expose what she’s involved in and what she agreed to do,” explains Kelly “And now Josslyn is digging around, and she’s connected to Carly (Laura Wright) to Jason (Steve Burton) and that whole dynamic! It’s messy!”

BRITT’S MURKY FUTURE

Britt has currently also reached her breaking point with Jason being carted away by the WSB, Rocco (Finn Carr), the child she gave birth to, shooting Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) to protect her and Jason, Marco (Adrian Anchondo) being killed after trying to help her, and Cullum holding over her head getting her Huntington’s disease medication to control her symptoms, while blackmailing her into finishing the research on her father, Cesar Faison’s, final project. Thiebaud summed it up best for Britt right now, sharing, “It’s been a really tough time for her.”

So, who do you think will be the person to blow Cassius’ cover? Will it be Britt herself? Josslyn? Liesl? Brennan? Nina? Lulu? Rocco, Maxie, Cullum or someone else? Let us know your pick in the comment section.
