THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL: Bill and Liam’s Car Ride Has Life-Altering Consequences

Courtesy/CBS

On Monday’s The Bold and the Beautiful, fans were shocked by the final moments of the episode leaving viewers, who knew that this week the show was promoting a murder mystery, just what will go down from here?

After Liam (Scott Clifton) and Hope (Annika Noelle) looked to be having a moment where they were finally finding their way back to one another, while Bill (Don Diamont) was talking about their children to Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), and having some tequila at the same time, that set up the kick-off to a new story arc.

Things will look pretty bad for Liam after he told Hope his feelings for Vinny, who is out on bail.  As viewers know, Vinny switched the DNA results to make it look as if Liam was originally the father to Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) baby, not Finn (Tanner Novlan).

Liam shares his feelings to Hope on the guy, stating: “I think I hate him. He treated our lives like a game.” He then advises Hope to keep her guard up in case he comes around looking for Thomas (Matthew Atkinson). Hope says he doubts Vinny will approach anyone.

When Bill and Brooke come to the cabin and Bill says some kind words to Hope about how much his son loves her, he exits with Liam.  Outside Bill tells Liam to drive his car home because he has been drinking.  Liam has never gotten to drive Bill’s car.  Once on the road, Liam is all smiles, as he says to his dad that things are finally looking up for him and Hope, and then suddenly Liam hits the brakes!

Liam is shaken as he knows he hit something and is visibly shaken. He utters, “Dad!” As the duo run out of the car they see a male body laying in the road… it’s Vinny (Joe LoCicero)! And the episode comes to a conclusion.

So, what do you think happens next? Vinny dies and there is a cover-up? Is there still a mystery? Will we go back in time and find out how Vinny was in the middle of the road anyway? Share your thoughts and theories via the comment section below.

One thing about this show, it’s consistent.Consistently stupid. If that Detective can stop eating his Chili Dogs long enough it will be easy enough identifying Vinnie and that he worked in the lab, was probably fired for switching the DNA tests, that he was good friends with Thomas, etc, etc. He will have a trail of bread crumbs longer than Hansel and Gretel had. The suspects and motives are endless, including Bill now. The biggest clue to me would be, someone taking his phone and I.D. I thought Bill was smarter than that. One last thing, Hope and her mother have got to be two of the sappiest women. Just listening to them go on and on, especially Brooke is really tiresome.

This is do unfair to Liam. I have is. Enough already. Bill is nuts.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Brook Lynn and Chase’s Wedding Reception Brings a Beatdown for Dex

On Friday’s, May 17th episode of General Hospital, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase’s (Josh Swickard) wedding reception was the focal point as the touching celebration for the newlyweds got underway.

Sonny (Maurice Benard) was seething over seeing Dex mingle with the guests. With Dex becoming a cop, and ratting him out to Anna, previously Sonny feels betrayed by his former hit man. However, Sonny’s growing paranoia and mental stability is in question, in particular, because he has been off the proper dosage of meds for months now.

Later, when Sonny sees Dex talking with Gio (Giovanni Mazza) about serving in the military, and later chumming it up with Cerullos, he is about to go postal.

Outside the ballroom. Sonny confronts Dex about chatting it up with the Cerullos, who he says are his people. He warns Dex to stay away from his family. Dex says he was invited to the reception.

Next, Sonny calls Dex a snitch, a spy, and lets him know he is “lucky to be breathing.”  Sonny issues Dex a warning to stay away from his family, or he may not be breathing much longer.

As Sonny turns to walk away., Dex grabs him by the arm to try to reason with him and to and say he’s not his enemy. However, Sonny throws a punch. In the pickup, Sonny continues to bloody and beatdown Dex, until Jason (Steve Burton) arrives on the scene and restrains Sonny.

Kristina (Kate Mansi) walks in on the moment. She sees her father is yelling that both Jason and Dex are traitors. Sonny screams that they are both dead and he’s going to put a gun to their heads.

In happy news, Brook Lynn and Chase finally begin their wedding night when they jump onto of their bed in their honeymoon suite. Chase says now they have a great wedding night, which will be followed by a great honeymoon, and that will be followed by their entire life together. They share a kiss.

So, what did you think of Sonny’s explosive words and actions against Dex and Sonny? Will Kristina figure out what is going on with her dad, once and for all? Comment below.

AMERICAN IDOL: Final Three Are Chosen; After Nationwide Vote, Are the Right Singers Going to the Finale?

On Sunday night, the semi-finals of this season’s American Idol were decided on Disney Night, where the contestants had to chose songs from Disney’s songbook which has become a tradition and of branding by ABC/Disney.

As usual, judge and music superstar, Katy Perry got decked out in a Disney get-up and this year dressed as Cinderella in full gown, no less.

The results of the nationwide vote sent two singers home, leaving three for next week’s 22nd overall season finale of ‘Idol’ and the 7th on ABC. It should be noted that we, and many at home, were surprised that some of the song’s chosen were even in Disney movies!

Eliminated were: 15-year-old Triston Harper who ended his run with a performance of  Rascal Flatt’s “Life is a Highway.” Also eliminated was Emmy Russell, the granddaughter of country legend, Loretta Lynn. After Russell’s performance of Brandi Carlile’s “Carried Me With You,” she did not have enough votes to move into the finale.

Moving on to the finals are: Jack Blocker, who wowed audiences during two-rounds of performances with “Nobody’s Fool” from Cars 2, and then David Bowie’sSpace Oddity.”

Will Moseley was also safe after his last performance of the night of Steppenwolf’s “Born to Be Wild.” Judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie thought it was the perfect sound for his voice, and apparently America thought so too.

Finally, Abi Carter, who ended her night with a rendition of Fleetwood Mac’s, The Chain from the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 soundtrack, illustrated her stage presence growth as noted by the judges, when she went full fledged rocker/pop star for this one. Given Carter’s exceptional vocals, and her often more intimate style when accompanying herself on the piano, this performance also lifted her into the finals.

So, did the right singers make it to the finale? Who are you rooting for to be crowned the new American Idol next week? Comment below.

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS: Victor to Jordan: “You’re a Delusional Vicious, Bitch!” But, Is He About to Sic Her on Jack?

On the Friday, May 9th episode of The Young and the Restless, it has became abundantly clear that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is about to take revenge on his arch nemesis, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

The manner in which he chooses to do so, may be the most heinous in Victor’s long list of masterminding plots. When visiting his prisoner, Jordan (Colleen Zenk) in the dungeon at the Newman ranch, she is trying to persuade him how he can’t let her rot down in the dungeon, in fact, he needs her and she can tell he wants something from her.

Jordan begs him for a hint of what he is planning, but Victor says,“It will be at a time of my choosing.” Jordan says she can help him in whatever he is planning. In fact, she can weaponize fear against someone; just look at what she did to his wife, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott)!

Victor yells at Jordan, “You’re a delusional vicious, bitch!” Jordan laughs and knows he wants her to do his dirty work. Victor says he will let her know when he decides. In the meantime, to torment her and to get her hooked on booze, as payback for getting Nikki back on the bottle, Victor reveals another bottle of vodka for her. He leaves it just in reach and just outside of her cell.

Next, Jordan tells Victor she needs food, not vodka. Victor slaps her hands away, and eventually walks out. Later, in the dungeon, Jordan paces tempted by the bottle, and screams for Victor to let her out of there and to tell her what he wants.

Back at the Newmans, Victor rants to Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Cole (J. Eddie Peck) that the family should stay away from the Abbotts. Victoria senses Victor is about to hatch a vengeful plot on Jack. Victor won’t admit to a thing.

At the Abbotts, Diane (Susan Walters) wants to walk out on Jack, due to his pill popping escapade to save Nikki. She is worried whatever move she makes might send him down the road to taking more pills. Jack swears he won’t do such a thing.  However, he is seems to be losing all the confidence from his entire family, which we can only take to mean he will be left open and vulnerable to whatever plot Victor hatches and uses Jordan to execute. All signs point to attempting to send Jack over the edge and spiraling downward into addiction.

So, what do you think will happen? How will Victor use Jordan to seek revenge on Jack Abbott? Comment below.
