After lights out, Adam sneaks into the vents. In Patty’s room, the nurse gives her her meds and Patty hopes it will help make the devil go away but the minute she is alone, Adam torments her from the vent in her room. Adam gets into Patty’s room and just as she is about to scream he clamps his hand over her mouth. As Adam shines a light in her eyes as he speaks to her, making Patty believe that he has come back from hell for her. Michael gives Lauren a pep talk about Jill before going to the Chancellor’s for their annual 4th of July BBQ. At the coffeehouse, Tucker invites Ashley to join him at the Chancellor party and is not happy to have to be the one to tell Ashley about Abby’s sex tape. On the patio, Abby convinces Daniel to come to the party with him as well just as Abby is leaving she runs into Victoria who is on the phone with Billy. She tells Billy that she is on her way to his place and Billy hightails it out of the Chancellor party to meet her. Later, Jill arrives with a man named Morgan and Kay and Nikki see her writing him a check and assume that she is paying him to be her escort. Just as Victoria is about to start her “Father Knows Best” marathon at Billy’s, which Billy doesn’t really seem all that into, all the power goes out. Victoria waits for Billy to get the power back on but when he comes back in he is dressed in full out old-school and starts pretending to be “Jim” from “Father Knows Best.” Victoria is touched by his effort and pulls him into a deep kiss. Ashley confronts Abby about the sex tape but Abby refuses to apologize for anything and brings up Ashley’s relationship with Tucker. Ashley tells Abby she is ashamed of her but Abby doesn’t back down and Ashley realizes that she is losing her daughter. Later, Abby makes a public spectacle when she fills the pool with bubbles and places herself naked in the middle of them for a photo-op. Everyone at the party is stunned, including Ashley as photographers snap photos of Abby who makes a statement about saving the waters. Adam continues to torment Patty and tells her that she needs to purge the evil by confessing to the murder of Adam Newman. Later, a nurse finds Patty hiding under her desk and Patty tells her that she confesses, she killed Adam. Meanwhile, the police arrive and arrest Adam for conspiracy to commit murder. Kay is aghast by Abby’s behavior and throws her and Daniel out of her house. Moments later, Jill announces to everyone that she has decided to legally change her name to Jill Fenmore after learning of her true heritage. While everyone else is too stunned to speak, Tucker offers Jill his congratulations and advice. Nikki however, tells Jill that she is just grasping at figuring out who she is and finding out that Neil Fenmore is her father hasn’t changed that. Later, Jill makes it clear to Nikki that she is about to tip toe around what is rightfully hers just because of Lauren’s feelings. Morgan introduces himself, finally, to everyone as Jill’s attorney and Jill tells Lauren and Michael that she wants her rights as a Fenmore. Lauren makes it clear that she can wave the name Fenmore around all she wants but it will never truly make her a Fenmore.

At the coffeehouse, Daniel makes it clear to Abby just how annoyed he was by her little stunt at the Chancellors. Later, as Daniel and Abby watch the fireworks, things thaw between the two as Daniel finally has to laugh at her little stunt. .T. is stunned when Mac tells her that Lily wants Mac and Cane to raise the twins together if she doesn’t survive the cancer. Meanwhile, Cane and Neil hope another miracle as Lily prepares to start her treatment today from the babies’ stem cells. Later, Lily tells Mac how much Charlie and Matilda means to her and thanks her for everything she has done to bring them into the world. As Billy prepares for Abby’s next cover of Restless Style he warns Malcolm and Devon that this cover is going to be “stylish and tasteful” and that Abby can be a handful. Meanwhile, Abby tries one last time to convince Daniel to be on the cover of RS with her but he passes. Later, at RS, when Billy’s back is turned, Abby tries to change the concept of the shoot, starting with her model, telling him to lose the wardrobe. Owen gives a press conference and tells the press that he intends to hold both Newman sons accountable for the death of Hightower.

Owen tells Michael that he doesn’t believe that Patty’s confession will ever hold up under any scrutiny. At the jail, Nick and Adam come face to face. Later, Victor tells Michael to find the most incompetent public defender in Genoa City and get him assigned to Adam’s case. Meanwhile, Adam taunts Nick with the facts of his case, telling him that in reality the police have no case against him. Paul comes to see Patty to talk to her about her confession and Paul tells her that when the D.A. arrives she should tell him that she was confused and knows nothing about how Richard Hightower died but Patty tells him that she does, she knows everything. Later, Owen and Paul learn that Patty and Adam where in the mental hospital at the same time. Chloe convinces Malcolm and Devon to just play along with Abby as she comes out wearing nothing but a robe but when Billy sees Abby and Lars, the model, in the nude he stops everything and calls the cover off. Later, Daniel saves the day when he convinces Abby that what she is doing is over the top but Abby says she will only do the new cover with Daniel and Billy tells Daniel that if he agrees he will hire him to do a photo essay for the next issue. Abby is thrilled when Daniel finally agrees.

Adam points out to Nick that there is no one to testify against him that wouldn’t make Nick more guilty, including Sharon, Phyllis or Victor. Nick realizes how much a sociopath Adam really is just as Victor arrives. Later, Adam continues to gloat until he meets Kreidler, his sloppy public defender and that wipes the smug look right off his face. Adam immediately fires him after a five-minute conversation and it becomes clear that this guy has no idea what he is doing. After talking to Patty, Owen tells Paul that she knew everything about the night “Adam” was killed. Michael overhears him and tells Owen that he has his killer and it isn’t Nick Newman. Michael tells Owen that is it time to let Nick out on bail. Later, Paul is certain that Adam is the one to blame for whatever happened in the basement the night of the ball. Billy tells Malcolm to make sure he is only getting headshots of Abby, even though Abby doesn’t know what Billy is up to. Later, Nick gets bail as Billy arrives at the jail to talk Adam into giving him a story. Adam tells Billy that if he wants his story then he needs to get Rafe to be his lawyer. J.T. brings Mac home and Mac is mess from all the emotions she is feeling after the birth of the twins and is having a hard time sorting things out. J.T. tries to support her and Mac is grateful to him. Later, Mac starts to grieve the loss of the twins. Meanwhile, Lily begins her treatment with her family by her side. As Paul tries to figure out if Adam coached Patty’s confession he becomes more confused by her rantings than ever. Meanwhile, Adam lures Sharon to the jail under the pretense that Nick wanted to see her and asks her to stay to talk to him because they once meant something to each other. Later, as Adam is trying to get sympathy from Sharon, she gets a call that Patty confessed and Adam plays like he is shocked to hear the news. Later, Adam pleads with Sharon to believe that he didn’t kill anyone. Jack and Emily savor being back together. Paul comes to see them and tells them about Patty’s confession and that Adam was in the hospital at the same time. They all realize that Adam could have coerced a confession out of her. Later, Victor and Paul both ask Emily to talk to Patty as a last resort to finding the truth. Mac admits to J.T. that it is harder letting go of the twins than she realized. Mac realizes that everyone who warned her how hard it would be to walk away from the twins was right. As Lily gets her treatment, Cane and Neil are positive that this time it won’t fail. While Cane goes to check on the twins, Neil tells Lily that about the changes in his life including selling Indigo and breaking up with Ashley. After a run-in with Victor, Billy decides to call Rafe. Billy puts on a show for Rafe to convince him to meet to at least meet with Adam. Later, at the jail, as Billy and Rafe are entering to talk to Adam, Sharon is leaving and Billy sees that Sharon is upset and offers her a friendly ear. J.T. tries to calm a hysterical Mac as she rambles on about the all the mistakes she has made in her life. Meanwhile, Lily tells Neil that she has done everything she can to live and if this treatment doesn’t work than she can die happy knowing that she has seen her children live. Later, J.T. manages to get Mac to laugh and she suddenly and unexpectedly tells him that she loves him. J.T. tries to soften the moment by telling Mac that he doesn’t love her either. Rafe wonders why Adam would want him as his attorney and Adam tells him that if a man who is known to hate him would represent him than it makes him look innocent. Adam tells Rafe that everyone has a price and Rafe found his. Meanwhile, Sharon opens up to Billy about both Nick and Adam and the cases against them. Later, Rafe tells Adam and his case to go to hell. At the magazine, Billy realizes that he has a perfect line for his story, revolving around Sharon caught between two brothers. Jack attacks Victor for putting Emily in a position of having to choose to help Patty again after everything she did to hurt Emily. Meanwhile, Emily comes to see Patty and tells her that Adam was in the building the last few nights. Emily tries to help Patty sort out her thoughts to get to the truth. Later, Patty realizes that Adam may have worked to get her to confess but she admits that she did kill the man in the basement. Everyone panics when Lily suddenly faints while getting out of bed but she assures everyone that she is fine and she has feeling that everything is going to work out.

Victor tells Michael that he wants all the charges against Nick dropped tonight. After being released from jail, Nick goes to see Sharon and Faith and as they are watching their daughter they suddenly feel like a family. Sharon is forced to tell Nick that she saw Adam at the jail and the two end up in an argument. Sharon bristles when Nick tells her to stay away from Adam and she tells Nick to go home to his wife. Meanwhile, Daniel gives Phyllis a shoulder to lean on as they talk about Nick’s behavior towards Sharon. Billy is thrown when he runs into Rafe and Rafe tells him that he isn’t taking Adam’s case so there isn’t going to be an Adam interview for Restless Style. Rafe tells Billy that he is an ass for even asking him to take Adam’s case after everything he has done. Later, Billy blows Abby off when she asks to see the new cover of Restless Style and Abby wonders what Billy is hiding. At the coffeehouse, Sharon runs into Rafe and after talking to him about Billy, Sharon realizes that what she told him at the jail could come back to bite her. Chance tells Heather that Ellis is being transferred and he is going to talk to him without Ronan. As they are talking, Ronan catches Chloe outside the door trying to spy on them. Later, Chloe has to leave to get to the magazine and Ronan gets a call informing him that Ellis escaped custody, which infuriates Chance.

Nick returns home and embraces his wife and daughter as Phyllis and Daniel hold a meaningful look. Nick promises Phyllis that he will never leave her again. Later, Michael tells Owen that Victor plans to hold a press conference and involve the Attorney General and the Governor unless Owen drops the charges against Nick. At the tack house, Victor tells Nick and Phyllis about the press conference and that one way or another he is going to make these charges go away. Abby gives Billy a flash drive with pictures of her from the Chancellor pool and he only decides to take it when it becomes clear that she isn’t going anywhere until he does. Later, Billy is none too happy to hear that Chloe and Delia moved in with Kevin to be closer to Chance. Abby goes to see Daniel, offers to let him paint her in the nude but he passes, knowing all too well what Victor would do him if he took her up on the offer but instead helps her celebrate her new cover. Chance tries to take off to get answers about how Ellis got out of police custody but Ronan stops him, reminding him that he is supposed to guarding Heather. Ronan leaves and makes a mysterious call, saying that Chance is going along with the program. Later, Ronan listens from a van to Chance and Heather’s conversation in the apt. At the magazine, Chloe tells Billy he better be prepared for Abby’s wrath when she sees what he did to her cover just as Sharon arrives to confront Billy about using her for a new cover story. Sharon doesn’t take well to being taken advantage of and slaps Billy across the face. After she leaves, Billy shows Chloe the new cover with Abby and Daniel with a new headline reading: “OMG! My Two Brothers are Jailbirds and I’m Naked!” Meanwhile, Michael tells Nick, Phyllis and Victor that Owen is going to drop all the charges against Nick but that isn’t enough for Victor. He tells Michael that he wants to go ahead with the press conference and wants Nick’s family standing beside him, including Phyllis. After learning of Patty’s confession, Owen asks the court to remand Patty to the mental health hospital permanently but Paul challenges Owen, asking to speak on Patty’s behalf. Paul tries to plead on Patty’s behalf but when he asks how it would have been possible for Patty to actually kill Hightower after they determined that Victoria wasn’t tall enough, he doesn’t realize that Patty already told Owen that she stood on a crate when she stabbed him. Patty tells Paul to stop fighting for her because she is guilty. Later, Paul pushes Patty to the edge by recounting Emily and Jack’s love in order to prove that her confession can’t be taken at face value when Patty ends up going over the edge. As Nick and Phyllis prepare to go to Victor’s press conference, Phyllis struggles to play good wife for Nick. At the press conference, Victor addresses the media and condemns Adam. Meanwhile, Sharon visits Adam in jail and pleads with him to make her understand how a person can make her fall in love with him and love her back so completely and yet inflict the kind of pain he did on her. Later, Nick thanks his family for all their support in front of the camera but especially Phyllis for steadfast love and Phyllis tries desperately to remain strong. At the coffeehouse, Abby sees the much more conservative cover of her and Daniel on Restless Style and realizes that Billy tricked her. Meanwhile, Billy is confronted by a furious Victoria about the newest cover of RS. Billy tries to explain to her that the article is all meant to be tongue in cheek but Victoria tells him that Victor isn’t going to see it that way. Later, when Billy doesn’t seem to understand Victoria’s side of the argument, Victoria tells him that whatever is going on between them is officially over. As Sharon is leaving the jail, Adam makes a final attempt to save whatever is left between them and tells her the truth about what happened the night of the ball – he didn’t kill Hightower because of her. Sharon turns and leaves without saying a word. Later, Sharon arrives at the press conference just as Owen is addressing the media and she tells Nick that she went to see Adam for herself, to get answers and Nick gets worked up. Victoria arrives and shows the family the new RS cover and Victor is furious. He leaves to deal with something as Nick goes to look for Phyllis and Nikki sees how much Victoria truly cares about Billy by how much the cover truly hurt her. As they are talking, Victoria realizes that Victor went after Billy. Abby arrives at the magazine wanting her chance to take a swing at Billy. She tells Billy that she trusted him but Billy refuses to apologize. Billy tells her that he was just teaching her a lesson after everything she has done to get ahead but Abby throws family loyalty and trust back in his face and Billy is stung. Later, Nikki reminds Abby that people don’t forget what you do and will always remind you of your past. The judge rules that Patty is not competent to make a confession and returns her to the mental hospital until she can assist in her own defense, which horrifies Paul but Patty tells him that she will be okay. Later, Adam tells the judge that he has decided to run his own defense. As the judge is asking Adam it enter his plea, Skye jumps up in the back and announces that he is not guilty. Nick finds Phyllis at the tack house and her façade finally fades as she tells him that she is done. Victor’s rage at Billy explodes and he ends up smashing the light-box with Abby’s cover. Meanwhile, Nikki is horrified when Abby is thrilled that her sex video is climbing the View Click charts. Later, Victoria arrives just as Victor is about to hit Billy and yells that she loves Billy.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Sonny and Jason Trade Threats on Each Other

The love affair that once was mobster Sonny (Maurice Benard) and hit man Jason (Steve Burton), and having each others back, is now apparently over! On the Thursday April 25th episode of General Hospital, an increasingly paranoid Sonny is confronted by Jason.

Jason wants to talk to Sonny about a “family matter”, but Sonny says they aren’t family now because he’s working with the Feds. Sonny goes on to say how he cannot trust Carly (Laura Wright) or Jason and he knows about Jason buying back the Metro Court for Carly from Nina (Cynthia Watros).

When the conversation turns to Josslyn (Eden McCoy) and Dex (Evan Hofer), Jason informs Sonny that Kristina (Kate Mansi) knows Sonny ordered a hit. Jason is worried about Dex’s safety. He tells Sonny that if he does something to Dex, Kristina will figure out that he is responsible.

Sonny goes on to say how much he loves his kids and how he will protect them. He then tears into Jason for abandoning his sons, Danny and Jake, for two years and how he has no right to stand there to tell him what to do.

Jason warns Sonny again to leave Dex alone or he’ll personally stop him. Sonny snaps at Jason, countering, “You’ll die trying!” And at that point, Jason walks out and Sonny slams the door behind him.

What do you think about this split in the longstanding relationship of Jason and Sonny? Do you like Jason and Sonny at odds? Will Kristina be the person to ultimately figure out what is happening to Sonny, or it might it be Nina, who knows Ava (Maura West) is up to no good? Share your thoughts in the comment section, but first watch this clip from part of the Sonny/Jason scenes below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Brook Lynn and Chase Have Their Bachelor and Bachelorette Parties

On General Hospital, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) both were treated to Bachelorette and Bachelor parties to shake off any of those pre-wedding jitters. At The Savoy, the ladies have a touching and fun time with Brook Lynn.

The bride-to-be gives a speech to thank everyone for coming, while Lois lets everyone know to try the signature cocktail the “Brooklynn Chaser”, which gets everybody eventually and mostly, drunk.

When Tracy (Jane Elliot) questions Lois (Rena Sofer) as to why there is no music for the party, Lois realizes she forgot, and somehow, who does she call to the rescue? Spinelli (Bradford Anderson)! Saving the day, he winds up playing some tunes and later gets on the dance floor to ‘shake it off’ with the gals.

Photo: ABC

Lois makes a speech as the mother of the bride, and shares how proud she is of the woman Brook Lynn has become. Wedding games begin, including one of “hot potato” with a wedding bouquet.

When it’s time for the “Silly Poses” section of the party, Spinelli has now morphed from DJ to staff photographer taking memorable photos of the ladies to remember the evening by.

Photo: ABC

The best part of the event, was when Brook Lynn tries to get her grandmother Tracy out on the dance floor, which, at first, she refuses. After several of the guests bust a move, a tipsy Tracy joins the dance party after Joss mentions that if her grandmother Bobbie was here, she would dance. Tracy says “she agrees” and begins to cut a rug on the floor, much to the delight of the other women.

Photo: ABC

In the final moments, a tipsy Joss and Kristina (Kate Mansi) have a confrontation about Sonny, and Joss lets Kristina in more on Sonny’s behavior, which looks to have clued in Kristina a bit more as to how something is way off about her dad.

Photo: ABC

Across town at the Hatchett Bar, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and the men with the exception of Anna (Finola Hughes) and Jordan (Tanisha Harper), all attend Chase’s Bachelor Party where throwing hatchets into a dart board for supremacy is the order of the day. Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Ned (Wally Kurth) get into some words over ELQ, while Dante makes a toast to his police partner, Chase.

Photo: ABC

Suddenly Dex (Evan Hofer) shows up. Chase thanks Dex for coming, but Dex gets some dirty looks from other cops on the force. Dante gives Chase his present, which is a signed baseball by the Boston Red Sox.

Ned (Wally Kurth) makes a speech that although no one is good enough for his daughter, Brook Lynn, Chase has come closer than anyone has, so welcome to the family. Running in at the end is Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez), who just left Brook Lynn’s party, and she toasts her singing partner, Chase, and to the great man that he is.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Nina Confronts Ava for Sabotaging Her Relationship With Sonny and Signs the Divorce Papers

Looks like Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Ava (Maura West) are back to be each other’s sworn enemy number one. By the end of the Monday, April 22nd episode of General Hospital, the women know where they stand with each other after Nina goes in on Ava accusing her of wanting Sonny (Maurice Benard) all to herself, while her marriage has been on the rocks.

In story, at Nina’s office, Ava shows up to see Nina and says she is sorry about what happened with Sonny and that he reacted the way he did, acknowledging that is was over the top, even for Sonny. Ava says she’ll smooth things over, but Nina says she now understands how manipulative and transparent Ava really is.

Given their horrible history, Nina goes in on Ava and how she should never have trusted her. Nina wants to know how long has Ava had this agenda dating all the way back to telling Nina to turn Carly (Laura Wright) and Drew (Cameron Mathison) into the SEC. Ava says she never told her do to that, but Nina wants to know how long Ava has been playing her for a fool.

Courtesy/ABC

Ava says she moved in with Sonny to keep Avery safe and she wants to be on good terms with Avery’s father, Sonny. Nina thinks she likes being in Sonny’s inner circle. Ava tells Nina if she goes to him about her advising Nina to call the SEC on Carly and Drew, it won’t work.  Sonny still considers Nina a traitor and he will think she’s lying because she’s so desperate to win him back. Ava says if Nina would stop blaming everyone else that maybe Sonny would respect her.  Nina says “like he does you?” Ava says Sonny not only respects her, but he also counts on her.

From there, Ava launches into why she and Sonny understand each other, after all, Sonny is a powerful, turbulent, and sometimes violent man. She goes so far to say if Nina wanted someone to just sit by the fire with and play with their grandchildren, she’s got the wrong guy.  Ava then talks about Mike from Nixon Falls (Sonny with amnesia) and how Sonny hid the darkest parts of himself from Nina back then, whereas with Ava they are the same similar creatures, so he doesn’t have to hide anything.

Courtesy/ABC

Nina wants to know just what Ava wants with Sonny? What is her end game? Ava responds that they understand each other, in ways she can’t with Sonny. Nina tells Ava she can go ahead and have it all and signs Sonny’s divorce papers. Ava walks out with the documents, while Nina in tears at her desk, takes off her wedding rings and has her assistant come in so she can messenger the rings back to Sonny’s address.

The episode and these scenes featured great performances by Cynthia Watros and Maura West. You can check some of the scenes below.

Now, let us know, what is Ava’s next move? Is she going to become Mrs. Sonny Corinthos? Do you like Ava and Nina as enemies? Comment below.
