Jason and Sam search through Franco’s art studio and are left with no doubt that he and the vagrant who witnessed the shootout are one and the same.  As they try to figure out Franco’s motives, Sam and Jason are unaware that they’re being watched.  Jason decides to hunker down and wait for Franco to return in order to confront him face to face.  Olivia finds it hard not to be charmed by Sonny but the moment is broken by Dominic’s sudden arrival.  Sonny blasts Dominic for ruining the progress he was making with Olivia.  Carly voices her fears about Michael to Jax.  Armed with a hidden recording device, Jax succeeds in getting Sonny to incriminate himself for Claudia’s murder.  Rebecca admits to Ethan that he was right about Nikolas all along but doesn’t tell him about seeing Nikolas and Elizabeth in the throes of passion.  Rebecca pays Elizabeth a surprise visit. Jason abandons his stakeout after getting word that Michael is acting up at Jake’s. Elizabeth warns Nikolas that Rebecca plans on telling Lucky about their affair. Jason reads Michael the riot act, warning him he’d better shape up or face the consequences.  Carly believes that the only way to help Michael is for him to confess and turn himself in.  Not wanting to jeopardize his marriage, Jax erases Sonny’s incriminating comments and tells Dominic to get the evidence he needs on his own. Rebecca accuses Nikolas of purposely running her down with his car before she loses consciousness and is taken to the hospital.  Robin assures Lisa she doesn’t have a problem with her taking a staff position at the hospital.  Elizabeth’s brother, Steve, announces he’s going to be acting as the new Chief of Staff.

Sam fears for Jason’s life when he agrees to meet with Franco.  Rebecca threatens to tell Ethan about Nikolas and Elizabeth’s affair.  Dominic remembers arresting a graffiti tagger when he first joined the force and wonders if there’s a connection between him and Franco. Jason’s unsettled by his encounter with Franco. After sending Johnny on a bogus assignment to force him to break his date with Olivia, Sonny tricks Olivia into coming to his room at the Metro Court.  Elizabeth confesses to Steve that she’s having an affair with Nikolas.  Rebecca offers to make a deal with Nikolas, saying she’ll keep quiet about his and Elizabeth’s affair if he helps her win Lucky for herself.  Nikolas is surprised by Elizabeth’s reaction when he tells her about Rebecca’s offer.  The pieces fall into place for Lucky, who realizes Dominic is an undercover cop.  Spinelli’s devastated to learn Maxie was unfaithful.

John seizes control of the situation after Natalie takes the law into her own hands.  Thinking Shane or Bree might need Mitch’s blood should they one day face a medical crisis; Rex and Jessica follow Mitch as he’s taken to the hospital.  Stacy warns Schuyler to stick to their agreement.  Charlie is in a bad way as he blames himself for Jared’s death and continues to drink. Stacy steals a vial of Mitch’s blood.  Ross, Blair and Danielle are cornered on a bridge before they can cross the Canadian border. Schuyler confides in Rachel that he’s the father of Stacy’s baby.  Rachel’s stunned when Schuyler admits he has no intention of revealing the truth to Rex or Gigi. Kim and Stacy set out to transform Nevil into Nigel so that he can drop the bomb about Bo and Nora on Clint.

As Sonny turns to walk away., Dex grabs him by the arm to try to reason with him and to and say he’s not his enemy. However, Sonny throws a punch. In the pickup, Sonny continues to bloody and beatdown Dex, until Jason (Steve Burton) arrives on the scene and restrains Sonny.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Nikolas Gets an Earful from Ava About Sonny and His Meds; Nina and Drew Can’t Seem to Resist Each Other

Ava (Maura West) seems to feel she has a confidante in a jailed Nikolas (Adam Huss) on the Monday, April 29th episode of General Hospital. In story, Ava heads to Pentonville to visit her ex-husband before he is set to get transferred out of state.

When discussing her living relationship with Sonny (Maurice Benard), which Nikolas already knew about, Ava says she is happy about how her relationship with Sonny has been evolving, Nikolas ask if she’s in love with Sonny. Ava denies it, but goes on to say how great it is for her daughter, Avery to be living with both her parents, who are on the same side and not at odds.

Nikolas believes that Ava loves being in Sonny’s inner sanctum and the power that comes with it. Ava fires back that she spent years looking in from the outside and that everyone despised her. When Nikolas brings up Nina (Cynthia Watros), she says Nina never really could understand the true type of man that Sonny is.

Then, Ava launches in on Carly (Laura Wright), and how she would love to stick it to her, for all the times she blocked Ava from seeing her child and Carly’s attitude towards her. Then, Ava admits to Nikolas that she knows that Sonny has a watered-down version of his bipolar medication, which is making him more vulnerable and she’s capitalizing on it for her own gain. She says she needs to figure out who is responsible, but Nikolas voices concern for Ava’s plan and that if Sonny ever found out she knew about it and did nothing, he would be on the warpath against her. Ava promises she knows what she’s doing. When she says goodbye to Nikolas, he looks upset and sad, as he still seemingly cares for Ava.

Meanwhile in Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) office, Nina walks in complaining about Carly giving her a hard time about maintenance in her office. Nina wants payback for Jason (Steve Burton) buying Carly the hotel, but Drew is not up for playing games with her.  She says they both want revenge on Jason and Carly, which Drew denies. Next thing you know, Nina grabs Drew and kisses him. Although, it seems he might walk out the door and away from her, he locks it, and the two proceed to have round 2 of their hate-sex.

Elsewhere, Anna tells Jason about her shooting Charlotte and her concern about Valentin’s (James Patrick Stuart) involvement with Pikeman. Meanwhile, Valentin visits Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) in Pentonville, where threats are laid out to make Sonny look like the guilty party in eliminating Jason, while Anna is the line of fire, if she doesn’t keep her nose out of Pikeman business, which worries Valentin, who doesn’t want Anna getting hurt in any of this.

So, what do you think about Ava’s plans? Did you like seeing Nikolas back on the canvas? Are you all for a Drew/Nina continued affair? Will Anna get caught in the crossfire only to be saved by Valentin? Share your thoughts and theories via the comment section below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Sonny and Jason Trade Threats on Each Other

The love affair that once was mobster Sonny (Maurice Benard) and hit man Jason (Steve Burton), and having each others back, is now apparently over! On the Thursday April 25th episode of General Hospital, an increasingly paranoid Sonny is confronted by Jason.

Jason wants to talk to Sonny about a “family matter”, but Sonny says they aren’t family now because he’s working with the Feds. Sonny goes on to say how he cannot trust Carly (Laura Wright) or Jason and he knows about Jason buying back the Metro Court for Carly from Nina (Cynthia Watros).

When the conversation turns to Josslyn (Eden McCoy) and Dex (Evan Hofer), Jason informs Sonny that Kristina (Kate Mansi) knows Sonny ordered a hit. Jason is worried about Dex’s safety. He tells Sonny that if he does something to Dex, Kristina will figure out that he is responsible.

Sonny goes on to say how much he loves his kids and how he will protect them. He then tears into Jason for abandoning his sons, Danny and Jake, for two years and how he has no right to stand there to tell him what to do.

Jason warns Sonny again to leave Dex alone or he’ll personally stop him. Sonny snaps at Jason, countering, “You’ll die trying!” And at that point, Jason walks out and Sonny slams the door behind him.

What do you think about this split in the longstanding relationship of Jason and Sonny? Do you like Jason and Sonny at odds? Will Kristina be the person to ultimately figure out what is happening to Sonny, or it might it be Nina, who knows Ava (Maura West) is up to no good? Share your thoughts in the comment section, but first watch this clip from part of the Sonny/Jason scenes below.
