THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL: Sheila and Deacon Team Up

Courtesy/CBS

The Forresters are really going to get what’s coming to them after their rantings to Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan), and previously Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown)!

Now mind you, they have good reason, but obviously their tirades, slaps, and holier than thou attitudes, are going to serve as the impetus for these two super-villains to dish out some payback.

On Friday’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, after Deacon previously arrived on the scene to see his daughter, Hope (Annika Noelle), fresh out of his prison term, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) demanded that Hope tell Deacon that he cannot be a part of her life. Mind you, Hope, had already admitted that she was sending letters to Deacon while he was in prison this whole time.

In turn, Deacon showed Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), Liam (Scott Clifton) and Brooke, said letters.  Now with everyone hating on Deacon, he tells Hope he is going to leave, because he does not want to cause her any pain.  Ridge calls him out for that touching, little speech, which no one believes, and then Brooke and Liam tell Deacon to leave with Brooke punctuating it with a “Just leave, Deacon. That’s something you’re good at.”

Later, after his hideous encounter with the Forresters, Deacon is having a drink at the Il Giardino when who should saddle up to the bar … Sheila!  Now sitting next to each other and realizing who each other is, the conversation turns to their issues with the Forresters, with Sheila coming up with the idea that they should work together after hearing what happened at the cabin with Hope and the rest of the clan.  Sheila admits she has child, a son, that she wants to be close to as well who is married to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) ! Deacon is, at first, shocked. She goes on to say how the Forresters are cutting her out of Finn’s (Tanner Novlan) life, just like they are trying to cut Deacon out of Hope’s life.

Sheila implores Deacon to not give up on Hope, as she is not giving up on Finn.  Then she adds: “With the two of them together, they are going to get what they want and the Forresters don’t stand a chance!”  Sheila lets out one of her maniacal laughs as Deacon looks on nervous and probably down right scared of what he just got himself into.

But how delicious were the scenes between Kimberlin Brown and Sean Kanan? They were great playing off each other and we can’t wait for more.

Watch a key scene between Sheila and Deacon from today’s episode below.   Followed by our recent Michael Fairman Channel with Kimberlin and Tanner Novlan.

Then let us know in the comment section, if you are excited by Sheila and Deacon teaming-up to reign terror on the Forresters? Our bet? And probably yours too? They are going to somehow push Finn and Hope together!

This doesn’t surprise me and this was also a genius move. I love these 2 actors when they do their stuff on their own and seeing them put together is a humongous treat. I am not going to want to see this end any time soon!!!

Deacon is an alcoholic. Why does it show him drinking a mixed drink in this scene? Yes, he could “fall off the wagon” but shouldn’t there be some dialogue from him acknowledging the significance of his ordering liquor????

Yes I agree that getting Hope and Finn together will be their goal. Both of them being wimpy and being told what to do should work in Sheila and Deacon’s favor.

It’s about time that Deacon and Sheila team up!!!!! Those self-righteous Forresters should be afraid. Very, very afraid…

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS: What Did You Think of Victoria and Ashland’s Wedding? (PHOTOS)

Friday’s episode of The Young and the Restless brought with it the vows and the “I do’s” of Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi), and the couple are now officially married.  However, pangs of guilt, emotion, and ‘how to solve a problem like Ashland’ also filled the ceremony.

Leslie Brooks (Janice Lynde) played the piano, Tess (Cait Fairbanks) sang a song, and Victoria came down the aisle with her father, Victor (Eric Braden).  It was actually the moments between Eric Braeden and Amelia Heinle that were the emotional high points as you could see the love between the characters, and the actors.

With the nuptials in Tuscany, which brought Hunter King and Michael Mealor’s characters of Summer and Kyle back into the mix, along with Janice Lynde, Victoria was said to never look more beautiful and she chose, after all of Sally’s (Courtney Hope) machinations, to actually wear the dress Sally designed, which was a smash!

The drama came from what was Gaines (Jamison Jones) going to do and what ammo did he have to bust up the nuptials in his revenge against Ashland.  Nick (Joshua Morrow) comes upon him in a upstairs terrace room, and instead of helping him stop the wedding, he actually locks him in the room.

Nick then has a decision to make …. does he stop the wedding, which he knows his sister would never forgiven him for (he was already uninvited to the nuptials), or bust open the situation?  It is none other than Adam (Mark Grossman) that tells Nick to look at Victoria before he makes his move saying, “She’s happy. Do you really want to be the guy who wipes that look off her face on what should be the best day of her life?” Just then, Ashland and Victoria become husband and wife, They kiss as everyone in attendance applauds.

Throughout the wedding, another highlight was every time the camera would pan to Billy.  His face said it all as it was exceedingly and increasingly hard for him to watch Victoria marry another man, let alone Ashland. Jason Thompson played those moments to perfection. After the wedding, Billy goes up to the newlyweds and wishes them well.  During the ceremony, he received a text from Gaines, but did not read it.  When he later opens it, there is a video attachment.

Meanwhile, back in the upstairs room, Gaines is confronted by Nick, Adam, and Victor, who Adam alerted to the situation; instead of calling security, which Nick asked him to do.  A stern Victor tells Gaines that he’s still a threat to Victoria and her company, and he won’t allow that to happen.

When we go back to Billy, who is now with Lily (Christel Khalil), he looks shocked by what he just saw in the video message from Gaines.  He shows it to Lily saying: “He (Gaines) just sent us a video of himself detailing all of Ashland’s crimes including the evidence.” Lily knows this is huge news! Billy tells her that if they don’t publish within the hour, Gaines is going to send it around to other press outlets.  When Lily asks, “What should we do?”  The camera pans to Billy looking at Victoria and Ashland, where Victoria is smooching with her new hubby.  Billy looks very concerned and very torn. Will he be the person to break the backstory of Ashland and his crimes including the forged will and his conniving for Camilla Rhodes’ fortune… or will he not do anything with the intel to save his enduring relationship with Victoria?  We fade to black.  Tune-in Monday.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Carly Admits To Sonny She Was Falling Back In Love with Jason

On Friday’s episode of General Hospital, Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) finally had the “talk”.  You know, the one about what Sonny really walked in on the night he “returned from the dead” on Carly and Jason’s (Steve Burton) wedding night?  Yeah, that one.

Sonny has already had a conversation with Jason, where Jason admitted he was starting to fall again for Carly, even though they were originally getting married to show a united front for the five families.

Now coming to confront Carly, Sonny is at first greeted by her with “Mike’s” cowboy hat, where she says the man he was in Nixon Falls is a mystery to her. Sonny tells her he spoke with Jason and so Carly is compelled to admit that she and Jason would have slept together on their wedding night, if Sonny hadn’t shown up alive and in the bedroom!

Sonny’s clearly upset about his best friend and his wife getting so close and rekindling their old feelings. Carly tells Sonny that, at first, Jason and she were just going through with the wedding for show, but later, they decided to make it a real marriage, and were falling in love.

When Sonny poses the question to Carly, if she has any residual feelings for Jason, she says they have gone back to being best friends, and how much she loves Sonny.  Carly points out that Nina (Cynthia Watros) did this to them – she kept them apart for nine months – and so much has happened that it’s been difficult for them to be together as it was in the past because of it.

In the end, despite what Nina had perpetrated on them, Carly and Sonny come to an agreement that they need to rebuild their relationship.  But the cowboy hat looms as we fade to black.

Clearly, the Jason and Carly relationship and almost consummating it on their wedding night, is not sitting well with Sonny; plus Sonny seems to continue to not really tear into Nina for her deception as much as someone would if he didn’t also have feelings for her.

So, what do you hope happens next? Do you want Sonny and Carly to work things out? Do you hope Sonny sleeps with Nina? If he does, and Jason goes back to Britt (now that they are going on another adventure together to locate Liesl) is Carly ultimately the odd woman out?  Share your thoughts and theories via the comment section below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: What Did You Think of the Carly and Nina Showdown?

Wednesday’s episode of General Hospital brought with it the long-awaited and highly-anticipated showdown between Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and ended with Carly’s threat to Nina for all she has perpetrated on Sonny (Maurice Benard) and his loves ones, shouting to Jason (Steve Burton), “I’m going to burn Nina’s life down and spit on her ashes!”

But before all that, Carly found Nina at the Q’s, and thus began the confrontation. Armed with the information from Maxie (Kirsten Storms), that it was Nina who kept Sonny from his life for over nine months, Carly comes at Nina that she will pay the consequences for what she did.  Nina says she regrets what she has done, and is sorry for the pain she caused everyone. However, there was a caveat to her response.  She says Carly isn’t owning up to her part.

Now we get the back-story of reasoning to Carly; about the phone call that set Nina off on this deception in the first place. When she tells Carly she called to tell her she found Sonny alive in Nixon Falls, Carly was so hateful to her on the phone call about her rights to see her grandson, Wiley, so she withheld the truth. Carly gets another shocker when Nina drops that Jax (Ingo Rademachee) knew, too.

Carly then figures out this is payback time for what happened to Nina’s daughter, Nelle.  When Carly says the world is better off without Nelle, Nina goes into how Carly did not tell anyone about Nelle’s fall and kept it quiet!  She then says that Carly got Sonny back, but she will never get her daughter back.  Carly is still in disbelief that Nina could do this to all of Sonny’s kid … not tell them their father was alive. Nina counters she will apologize to everyone, but not ever to Carly.

Then, Nina says to Carly she should just be happy that Sonny’s back, but drops another cryptic message expressing, that she wonders, “how long he’ll be happy?” She then really hits Carly with a low blow sharing that “Mike” was happy with his life and not having to witness or deal with the mob violence that took Morgan.

That was enough to send Carly finally into a full-on rage against Nina, but Jason arrives on the scene, throwing himself between the women, with Carly screaming that Nina will never see Wiley again ,and as mentioned at the top of this recap, that she is going to destroy Nina’s life in retribution.

What Carly still does not know is that “Mike” fell in love with Nina.  What will happen when she learns that?

Great performances by Laura Wright and Cynthia Watros throughout the key scenes.

So, what did you think of the showdown? Did it live up to your expectations?  What do you hope happens next? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
