B&B’s Scott Clifton On Liam Finding Steffy Passed Out and Unresponsive: “This Is Where It All Combusts”

Courtesy/CBS

If you caught Friday’s cliffhanger of The Bold and the Beautiful you know that Liam (Scott Clifton) found Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) out cold on her couch as her growing addiction to painkillers has taken hold of her.

That sets the stage for some major drama and potential reckoning for Steffy this week on the CBS Daytime drama series.

In a preview of what to expect, Scott Clifton shared with Soap Opera Digest on their latest issue on newsstands now:  “This is where it all combusts.”

Liam had gone to Steffy’s talk to her about her growing relationship with Finn (Tanner Novlan) and to express his concerns, but he walks into a dire situation for Steffy and their daughter.

Clifton goes on to say on Liam’s state of mind: “He goes into a full panic to th point where he’s slapping her face to get her to snap out of it.”

When Steffy comes to, Scott shares: “She’s disoriented and reactive and defensive. She’s clearly loaded and Liam just asks her, ‘Are you still on pills?”

How does Steffy answer? What comes next? It all could be game-changer for not only Steffy’s relationship with Liam, but Liam’s with Hope (Annika Noelle) as well.

So, what have you thought of Steffy’s addiction to painkillers storyline arc thus far?  Should Liam mind his own business where Dr. Finnegan is concerned?  Share your thoughts via the comment section below.

Am I the only one who is debating on whether or not to ride the upcoming merry-go-round featuring Steffie, Liam, and Finn. Here we go again kids. Time will tell I guess. At least we have crazy Quinn to distract us from the inevitable. It’s a shame we won’t have any face slaps in the near future. I would love to see Quinn haul off and give princess Brooke a good one. I guess Carter and Zoe are going to be the next new couple. I hope they don’t destroy them the way they destroyed Wyatt and Sally. Well stay… Read more »

Steffy is an amazing actress and she gave us a great performance today but we want this storyline to be over. We don’t want to see another strong beautiful woman made to look weak and crazy, the way you destroyed Taylor character, it will be horrible to do that to both of their characters

Barbara…Not crazy about their characters, but then look at what they have done to mother and daughter, Flo and Shana.

TONIGHT: ‘Dynasty’ Season Four Premiere

Truly one of the most entertaining TV show’s is back tonight with the return of CW’s witty, lusty, twisty, and oh-so-soapy, Dynasty!

The fourth season has a 21-episode order and will air in its Friday night slot beginning tonight at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT.

In story, and in tonight’s season opener entitled “That Unfortunate Dinner”: Fallon (Elizabeth Gillies) and Liam (Adam Huber) plan their wedding, with some unsolicited input from Alexis (Elaine Hendrix), which leaves Fallon questioning if Alexis could be right.

Meanwhile, Alexis and Jeff (Sam Adegoke) have a photo shoot to announce their new ‘power couple’ status.  While, Dominique (Michael Michele) runs into hiccups with her new fashion line and turns to unexpected sources for help. Blake (Grant Show) is determined to work on his relationship with Cristal (Daniella Alonso) and Culhane (Robert C. Riley) advises Sam (Rafael De La Fuente) on his current state of affairs.  That’s not all!  Anders (Alan Dale) does some digging and is shocked by what he finds and Adam’s (Sam Underwood) confession to Kirby (Maddison Brown) is met with surprising results.

The CW released this clip ahead of tonight’s episode where just as Liam and Fallon toast to their “drama-free” next chapter, a clumsy waiter messes up the photo right through Liam’s face with a bottle of champagne, as Liam’s disdainful mother (Sharon Lawrence) arrives on the scene.

Check out the clip below and let us know if you are looking forward to Dynasty’s return via the comment section.

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS: Adam and Nick Trapped as Faith Needs a Newman Kidney

This week on The Young and the Restless ,”Oh, brother”, takes on a whole new meaning.  In story, Nick (Joshua Morrow) shows up in Kansas looking for Adam (Mark Grossman) who is hiding out there, and once he obviously locates him things get pretty intense, especially from the looks of the all-new promo released on Sunday for the CBS Daytime drama series.

With a tornado on the way, Faith (Reylynn Caster) in desperate need of Adam’s kidney, and a heated discussion in a storm cellar, the stakes could not be higher.

In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest on newsstands now, Joshua Morrow previewed the situation between the two men who never see eye-to-eye: “Obviously there two aren’t the closest of people, and Adam is very leery of trusting Nick in any shape or form.  Nick does his darnedest to outline how serious the situation is with Faith, but Adam doesn’t believe him.  Adam doesn’t want Faith in harm’s way, but his first inclination is to assume this is a trap.”

But speaking of trapped, that’s exactly what it looks like happens when the ceiling collapses and Adam is the one who takes the brunt of it.  Watch the latest Y&R promo below.

Then weigh-in: do you hope Adam is able to save Faith with his kidney? Will this bond the brothers forever, if so? Will the two of them get out of Kansas without permanent injuries to either of them? Share your thoughts in the comment section.

GH’s Nancy Lee Grahn to be Featured in Alexis-Centric Episode to Mark Her Upcoming 25 Years on the ABC Daytime Drama

She is a two Daytime Emmy-winning actress, and one of the best that has ever graced the soap genre, and now General Hospital’s Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis) will have an episode devoted to her, and her soap opera alter-ego, next week on the ABC daytime drama series.

The episode has been scheduled to air on Wednesday, April 7th.

Grahn will celebrate her 25th anniversary with GH in September, but as the imminent milestone draws near, and with Alexis in story getting ready to begin a three-year stint in Pentonville, it sets up plenty of drama for the former legal eagle of Port Charles; who has had an enduring battle with booze.

According to Nancy, who spoke with Soap Opera Digest in their latest issue on newsstands now, “I will say that she (Alexis) knows she can’t stop drinking unless she faces her life as it really is and not as she’s faked it thus far, and she is perhaps forcing a brutal bottom in order for her to rise again from the ashes.”

Viewers can look for Alexis to interact with many characters, plus a brand new character, and her on-screen daughters within the episode.

Grahn added to what fans will see, “I feel like this show is not so much about what Alexis discovers, but how that discovery and resolution will affect the heart of so many who watch it.  I feel that many will relate in a personal way.”

So, excited to see the Alexis-centric episode featuring Nancy? Comment below.
