THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS: Who's Wheeled Out Of Fairview?

Courtesy/CBS
Things are about to get “heavy” according to the latest promo from CBS Daytime, next week on The Young and the Restless. As viewers saw on Friday’s episode, Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) is back and as disraught as ever.
Paul (Doug Davidson) puts his sister back into custody, and into Fairview to get the psychiatric care that she needs. But there’s only one problem! Patty detests the care of Dr. Anderson (Elizabeth Bogush) and she basically tells her brother that. Patty also admits it’s not Sharon (Sharon Case) who she had a problem with when she was in Fairview before … it’s trusting Dr. Anderson!
Meanwhile, Nick (Joshua Morrow) lets Sharon in on his plan with Sage (Kelly Sullivan) to find out information on Dr. Anderson, and pretending to make Sage look unstable. Nick even tells his ex-wife that “Sandy” kissed him. Elsewhere, Sage is being baited by Dr. Anderson to dredge up her feelings for missing her “dead” son Christian. The evil doctor manipulates the situation for further. She tells Sage that Nick and Sharon are spending time together. Sage knows Anderson is up to something. Nick comes back to Fairview and sees Patty there. Right away, Nick is concerned for Sage’s safety. But now, Sharon has called Dr. Anderson and tells her she needs her to come over right away!
And then comes the new teaser for next week: We see a knife, we hear someone scream, and then we see someone being wheeled out on a gurney at Fairview, apparently dead! Nick says, “Someone’s dead because of you,” seemingly blaming Adam (Justin Hartley). While Dylan chimes in and says to all involved, “This isn’t a case! This is our family!”
So, who do you think will meet their maker next week on Y&R? Watch the promo after the jump, and then weigh-in!

‘General Hospital’s’ Dominic Zamprogna Shares He Was ‘Happy to Hear’ of The Triangle Storyline Developing Between Dante/Elizabeth/Ric

General Hospital’s Dominic Zamprogna (Dante Falconeri) opened up about the burgeoning love triangle forming between his Port Charles alter-go, Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) after recently aired scenes, plus his hopes for the future of a Dante and Liz pairing, during his appearance on the Sunday, April 23 edition of the That’s Awesome podcast with Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) and Bradford Anderson (Spinelli).
On last week’s episodes of GH, Ric has made the decision that he wanted to propose to his ex-wife, only when he showed up at Elizabeth’s front door, he misread the scenario he walked in with Liz tending to Dante’s injured leg from the softball game. From there, the legal eagle’s jealous streak is reemerging which may cause him to act out and do something unforgivable, or will he take the high road? Stay tuned.
Speaking with Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson about where Elizabeth stands in the annals of the long-running soap, Zamprogna said, “She’s up there with Steve and Maurice (Maurice Benard) as one of the most legacy-filled people on the show.”

HOW DANTE AND ELIZABETH CAME ABOUT
Dominic jokes it’s a far cry for where Dante and Elizabeth previously, recalling, “We had some scenes together years ago and we were both laughing. Becky’s like, ‘Well, I guess we’re not going be paired up anytime soon.’ I remember we laughed immediately after they yelled ‘cut,”‘and said to each other, ‘Well, so much for that!'”
Fast-forward to early 2025 and as Zamprogna remembered it, “Elizabeth Korte (co-head writer, GH) came up to me at the General Hospital Christmas party, and I think it was a year and a half ago and she said, ‘We’re going to have you in scenes with Elizabeth,’ My internal monologue is going, ‘I’m not with Lulu (Alexa Havins) anymore and Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) gone, so maybe they want to see if this works.’ I didn’t want to get scenes with Becky and try to find the chemistry. I just wanted to play whatever honestly was written and came across for both of us and hope it was what people liked, and I don’t know if it is … or not.”
Knowing how beloved Elizabeth is to the GH faithfuls, Zamprogna added, “She got a big fan base with Ric … and a big fan base with with Jason … and you know, you’re going to piss somebody off. But, didn’t Ric drug Elizabeth and put Carly in a panic room?”

DANTE AND ELIZABETH PAIRING COULD STIR UP STORY FOR OTHERS IN PORT CHARLES
In closing, Dominic felt that the wide-reaching tentacles of a Dante and Elizabeth relationship is something he is 100% down for. “The triangle thing; I was happy to hear it was with Ric and her, because I felt it’s important to have her the top of it as opposed to Dante, Lulu and Elizabeth.”
Zamprogna added, “When you get into relationships on a soap, things seem to fizzle out a little bit, The buildup is what’s the fun part, and the getting to know each other, and the people who are affected by this coming together. When with this case it’s going to affect: Ric, Sonny, Lulu. There’s so much more story here. To me, it’s going to be a fun story to play.”
You can check out Dominic’s visit to That’s Awesome with Steve and Bradford below.
Now weigh-in: Are you rooting for Dante and Liz, or Dante and Ric at this juncture of the story, or neither guy for Elizabeth? Let us know your thoughts and picks via the comment section.

WHAT’S THE STORY OF DEIFY?
Taking to his Instagram with the news of his casting, Manning shared, “A movie about a cult? What could possibly go wrong? Come for the enlightenment. Stay because they won’t let you leave. DEIFY is coming…”
The movie is currently shooting in Chicago and in story, “a cult leader is put on trial after causing his devoted followers to be burned alive. The film is inspired in part by events surrounding the 1993 Waco, Texas, standoff between members of the Branch Davidians church and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, one of the largest civilian firefights ever recorded on American soil.”
MIKE MANNING IS A DAYTIME EMMY NOMINEE
In addition, the multi-talented Manning is a producer on the feature. GH and OLTL Alum Patrick J. Gibbons Reveals the Story Behind Writing Trina’s Song on ‘General Hospital’ (Exclusive)

At the conclusion of today’s August 21 episode of General Hospital, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) sings a lullaby to baby Dez, that went into a montage to close out the episode as her father Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) reports to Pentonville and winds up in his jail cell.
However, in a fun fact, the song entitled, “A Lonely Heart To Give” was actually written by none other than former One Life to Live and General Hospital actor, Patrick J. Gibbons.
Daytime fans first met Gibbons as Sam Manning on One Life to Live. At the time, when he started on the soap, he was just 5-years-old. Gibbons played the part from 2010-2013 on ABC and Prospect Park’s editions of the show. Fast-forward to 2018, Gibbons shows up on General Hospital as Wyatt Hoover, the scout who seemed always be injured, but in the thick of the drama. Patrick had appeared on GH multiple times as Wyatt including: 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023.

FROM HIS GRANDMOTHER’S DEATH CAME THE INSPIRATION FOR HIS SONG
Now in 2026, General Hospital fans are getting to learn about another side of Gibbons’ talent as a songwriter and guitar player after “A Lonely Heart to Give” debuted today! Michael Fairman TV caught up with Patrick, who is now a senior at Penn State entering his final year as a finance major, to get the back-story of how his song wound up on GH!
Gibbons explained he wrote the song in honor of his grandmother who passed away a few years ago with whom he was, very, very close with. “Randomly, my grandmother had a downfall and passed away during the second semester of my sophomore year. I was in my dorm a lot and I was just playing with my guitar. And at the time, I was really into finger-style playing. I wrote the lyric and music to it (with a little help from my guitar teacher Lou), and my mom showed the rough demo to Frank Valentini (EP, General Hospital). He’s like an uncle to me. Frank loved it so much he said, “Finish that up. I want to hear the whole thing, and I want it on the show.”
MAKING MUSIC FOR GENERAL HOSPITAL
Gibbons and his parents took the next steps! “So now, all we needed was a female voice, because I thought that would fit the song well,” Patrick shared. “At the golf club we go to my parents were at a dinner. They liked the singer that was performing and spoke to her about the song, and she says she would like to bring it to her ‘boss’ who ended up being Eric Bazilian of the Hooters fame!” (Bazilian also wrote the smash hit song “One of Us” for Joan Osborne).
Next, “We went in the studio and recorded it and the song came together and it was beautiful. We loved it. They loved it at General Hospital and now they’re putting it the show and they are coming in with a piano, instead of a guitar. Paul Glass, the GH musical director, has been keeping us updated over the last six months of how it was coming along, and when it would air, and how GH put their own arrangement to it. I can’t wait to see and hear what they did with it.”

PATRICK’S ONE LIFE TO LIVE FAMILY
Everyone knows that the One Life to Live extended family share a very tight bond, and Patrick said he does stay in touch with a few of his former One Life to Live co-stars, especially those from the Manning family! “I stayed in touch with Kassie DePaiva (ex-Blair) and sent her little videos here and there. She was like my second mom for five years. We keep in contact with Kristen Alderson (ex-Starr) over X the most, and she can’t believe how big I’ve gotten. Like, none of them can! (laughs). I also loved working with Roger Howarth (ex-Todd) and Trevor St. John (ex-Todd and Victor Jr.), and to me since I was so young, they were just my friends, ‘Roger and Trevor,’ not Todd Manning or Victor Jr.”
It was a trip to California and a visit to Port Charles that ultimately led to Gibbons second soap role of Wyatt Hoover. Patrick explains, “In 2016, Frank Valentini invited us out to Los Angeles to visit the set of General Hospital. I think he heard me say, ‘This is so much fun. I miss being on the set.’ He goes, ‘You should come out. I’ll bring you on the show. We can make you a character.'”
A few years later, Patrick’s dream became a reality! “Then, by the summer of 2018, I was playing Wyatt, the scout, and shared scenes with Wes Ramsey (Peter August), and the best was when I shared a scene with Roger Howarth and Michael Easton (ex-John, OLTL and ex-Silas, Finn et al, GH), it was like chemistry from the old days.”

Photo: PGibbons
IT’S ALL IN THE NUMBERS
As to his future aspirations, it’s a career in the finance game that has piqued Gibbons’ real-life interest. But never say never to a return to acting. Patrick explained, “I’ve always enjoyed numbers. And on top of that, one of the biggest parts of finance is being personable and outgoing.”
He continued, “That’s one of the greatest skills I developed growing up. I really love the markets. I’m super interested. I’m never going to close the door to acting. I’m always open to that because I just love it so much. It’s such a great art.”
Take note! If there are any investment bankers or private equity folks among the GH faithful looking for a young analyst next year, Patrick’s DMs are open. You can find him on X at @PatrickJGibbons.”
So, what did you think of the song sung by Trina on today’s GH that was written by Patrick J. Gibbons? Did you enjoy Patrick’s performances as One Life’s Sam and GH’s Wyatt? Would you like to see him back on GH at some point? Let us know via the comment section.

Looks like a great week! Things are actually moving on this show. Love in the afternoon too. Get it Villy!!!!
The victim will be “Orderly #2.” whom specializes in emptying bedpans which often contain #2!
Oh, boy! Yuck…4ever; that visual just killed my lunch. LOL. You are naughty!! HaHa!
I think you’re right, though. It cannot be anyone else….it just wouldn’t make any sense. Unless all the writers went wacko. I hope it is Anderson, but then, there would be no story or satisfaction. She could just be wounded and in a coma, which means this story will linger and linger and never be told. Let’s hope it “ain’t” so.
Maybe the orderly tried subduing Patty, by orders of Anderson, ( so happy to see her. Love her. I wish she’d be ok and remain) and she stabbed him.
I hope Sharon is not stupid enough to tell Anderson the scope of Nick’s and Sage’s plan. Perhaps, Sharon will finagle her way around Anderson and get some answers. I’d like to give Sharon some credit.
I am looking forward to this story unfolding, finally……getting a little more interesting.
Get rid of Marissa…not good for Noah…Bring back Eden Baldwin (Vanessa Marano) and have her and Noah pick up where they left off.
Of all the stupid advice Victor and duh-duh Marissa could have given Noah, was not to go the police. It was a darn accident. Had he fessed up, he would now have been in the clear. But, because he did not come forward after realizing what had happened, will send him to the gallows. Later, my friend. Good wee-end!!
When I say ‘love her’, I mean Patty, not Anderson.
Hi Cee Cee I could not agree more. It was an accident for Adam as well (if he even did it) and he is still being branded. I think Victor’s back and even though Adam’s trying his hardest to get Victor’s love & approval I think Victor gives him a rough time. I don’t know why he doesn’t just tell Chelsea the truth about the baby to begin with. It was one time and she was living with Billy. Oh well it’s a soap! I did notice Bummer was back. I was hoping her night job would keep her busy. Later my friend
@Nikki.
You’re right, Nikki. I wish Summer would just stay in her room all day, as far as I’m concerned. ( take Kyle with her). What foes she do, exactly? No one goes to school on this soap. Then they come out with BA’s, MA’s or PhD’s.
I don’t know why Delia’s real killer has not been found yet. I am so convinced Adam didn’t do it. I guess they haven’t found the logical person to pin it on yet.
As Harry says, among others, why not just confess to Chelsea. She already is privy to the fact Adam slept with Sage. Besides, Chelsea is no symbol of truth and purity….let’s go back to her beginnings. It was so easy for her to forget about Johnny, her firstborn; so she should forget anything else after that. It still boggles the mind how this woman does not feel a pull toward Johnny. I’d be going nuts crying for him. Ah, well. Soon, my friend.
Well, its a soap so they have to take you on all these back roads when we could have gotten there in ten minutes if we would have went straight! Yes, Noah is a good Newman, all he had to do is go to Paul immediately after he used Billy as a speed bump and it would have been over! Speaking of Billy, Jason is doing a great job as Billy but I hope he drops his deep voice soon! We know how Jason talks and its not like that! I understand when he was tubed in the hospital his throat would have been soar BUT that was weeks ago?
Does, not foes
I have to say;
that godawful soap sex is horrible.. It makes me cringe it is so bad..
It looks like a screen thrill from the 80’s but in 2016 it is really really Lame.. lol
I gotta FF those scenes so not ruin my sex life, it leaves a horrible dent in the labido seeing that terribly played sex as susposedly a good thing.. aha ahha!
I can’t even comprehend that anyone could see the soap sex as being hot in their lives LOL
ohh well, hope y’all enjoy the phony yuk of it.. (cringe lol 🙂
I see it being Patty with knife stabbing Dr A ..
She will confess all thinking she is dying or some such thing..
why Adam would be blamed for any of that mess, doesn’t connect..
Oh, SuzieQ. You’re too much. This has to be a first. Hear ye, hear ye. Soap sex has ruined su0000’s sex life. I love you, girl. Don’t ever change.
I hope Patty stays forever, su. They should just ‘FIX’ her…but, I know that won’t happen. Why is she back? I think it has everything to do with Anderson’s story getting sewn up. Bye, babes.
I think Patty cakes will end up killing Sandy.
What is a Labido? A new canine cross breed? Any relation to Labradors?
I am rather bored with Chelsey and Adam, and I never thought I would see the day that I would be bored with Adam. It’s not Justin’s fault–he is an amazing actor. It’s just that they keep putting he and Chelsey on the rinse and repeat cycle. How many times must we endure the same old conversation about how she cannot trust him when he will not tell her the truth? Why won’t he tell her the truth about little Noah and the hit and run? And Victor blackmailing Adam with the knowledge that he MIGHT be Christian’s father is ridiculous. Both Chelsey and Nick already know that Adam and Sage slept together–this is no secret. Adam should call his father out on his bluff because as sinister as Victor can be, he would not want to hurt Nick with the fact that Christian (who is believed to have died) might not be his baby. What a ridiculous and stupid plot twist. However, of course Chelsey won’t leave Adam, they will make up, shirts are removed and the couple can show off their lovely torsos and expensive underwire flesh colored bras.
(Chelsey’s, that is).
I do kind of like the DR Anderson story. Kelly Sullivan has proven herself to be a really capable and interesting actress once again. I was so bored with the formerly insipid Sage but now she’s been given a storyline in which she can sink her teeth and I am really enjoying her right now.
I do wish Sharon would get a clue. I mean, she acts like Dr Anderson is Oprah Winfrey or something.
Oprah Winfrey? Why? Is Sharon getting a car?
I am loving Sage. Examine her face closely, Harry (which Harry sure you?). Sage’s face tells a story. I love it when she gives that sly, sidelong glance through her hair…..where we know exactly what she will say, without missing a beat. Classic Kelly.
I think Sharon will trap Anderson; if not, she really is useless. Too much adoration for one insipid, controlling doc.
Are, not sure.
NOBODY CALLS OUT THE GREAT VICTOR NEWMAN! Here is my question, no Adam should not lie to Chelsea but why the hell is she so obsessed with what Adam is doing, work wise? Let the guy breath! Go design your cloths, spend time with Conner and relax with your friends! Adam needs a little space! She is pushing him away even though she packed her bags on Friday. I PRAY Adam and Sharon get back together!
PS: Harry, maybe Dr. Anderson will give away cars to everyone in Fairview on Monday!
HA! Cee Cee, you do make me guffaw.
I am the Harry you know but I am afraid I chased the other Harry off.
I feel rather bad about that as I kind of liked Harry.
Hey, Harry 1…I hear ya’…A-G-R-E-E-D!!!!! To me, Lily is nothing but SELF-RIGHTEOUS, MEDDLESOME AND EVEN MORE ANNOYING!!!!! A-n-d…I think that Lily is EVEN MORE ANNOYING than Summer…and that’s saying A L-O-T!!!!! Y-e-p.
P-e-a-c-e.
Harry 1…Somto confirm your comment to CeeCee…”Harry 1″ is really the “first Harry” we’ve known before, and just “Harry” is the new guy on the block. I know what it’s like because there is another Rose commenting on occasion as well. Agree room for everyone…welcome just “Harry.”
Now, now, Harry. It’s a typo. Remember what you advised: stop correcting ourselves? Lol…couldn’t resist. Forgive me?
Lilly and Cane’s “Soap Sex”was about as hot as an ice cube! Thats it after being indifferent for so long? Snore!
Totally agree, Timmm.
I love Chelsea and Adam as a rule, but
she is suffocating him lately, jeez! She won’t
just leave him alone a minute, ugh. When she
said the other day that she packed her bags and
was going to leave, I was like “GOOD! Buh- bye”.
But of course she probably isnt going anywhere.
Also agree about Lily and Cane. I FFed thru their
rekindling, or lack thereof, lol. But then when I watched
afterward, there was Lily wearing a prune face and nagging
Cane about if he can trust her completely again now and
blah, blah, blah. She couldnt even just bask in afterglow for
10 seconds before being a nag?
Okay, now, my Timmmy. What did you want? Dancing on the ceiling? Ha!
Nanci. I do agree. Chelsey has turned out to be a bore and a fish monger’s wife.
AND…..Lily didn’t just sleep with Joe TWO times, she treated Cane like utter crap while in the process. She ran to the police when she found the bag of money, she forbid him to see his own children and she was hostile to him during the time period when she slept with Joe. Cane is actually an abused husband and he needs psycho therapy. Unfortunately, Dr Anderson seems to be the only shrink in town.
Hey, Timmm…’was about as hot as an ice cube’…LMAO!!!!! GOOD ONE!!!!! Oh…and how many more times are ‘Cane The Henpecked’ and ‘Lily The Annoying Busybody’ gonna ride the ole ‘soap-merry-go-round’ of ‘breaking up and then getting back together again’?!?!? Beyond tiresome.
Have a good one.
I vote for Dr. Anderson to be wheeled out on a gurney and end this story line!
Hey, j9…me, too!!!!!
Oh, but it won’t end, “j9” – this shizz is going to keep circling and spiraling because the two dimwits running this show into the ground have no freakin’ clue how to end ANY of these dumb & plot-driven tales of stupidity!!
i’ve not been a fan of the amount of violence i’ve seen in this show over the past year. Y&R used to be character over plot, now it’s flipped
Well, now that we know it’s Dr. Anderson, I’m really pissed!
How, and when, will it finally come out that Sullivan is actually Christian?
Do we really have to suffer through more scenes of Sharon and Dylan cooing over “their” baby and poor Sage continuing to suffer over her loss?
That crap should have been cleared up before offing the character!
Patty is the key, SZima. She knows the truth about the baby ‘switch’. But, no one will believe her.
How convenient for Sage to have blood on her hand, transferred from Patty….Anderson’s blood.
Will super, instant cop figure it out?
PS.
Could it have been self-defense? What if Anderson pulled the letter-opener on Patty first?
the one that that really irks me… well… i’m actually glad… that it makes the character, Nicholas NUman – dead on arrival
he’s “playing” the part of helping Sage… the mother of his latest child…
with sexual advances plus
why do I even bother… because I love bringing UP how the nuMAN men trigger so ALL that and a bag of chips… their cajones know nothing else
Applause to thee Abbott
Patrick, my friend. Nick’s actions make all the sense in the world. Think about it. Both Sage and Nick have arrived at the conclusion that Anderson has a thing for Nick. Thus, he is exploiting this to the best of his advantage. This cannot be an easy feat for Nick….there’s nothing sensual about this woman. It probably took a will of steel to kiss her back. Nick feels no pull of desire towards this nutso, believe me. Nick is the perfect male specimen. He is so beautiful. Well; I digress…lol. I was starting to lose faith in him. But, he is finally stepping up….be the husband Sage deserves.
It’s Dr. Andrerson. Patty stabbed her & now the secret paternity of Sully/Christian will go on for years & years &…
Esther FTW.
There is no body…its just a prop…lol
Yeah Jim, they are just removing the pillows that they used to trick Sharon into thinking she was pregnant!
HaHaHaHaHa!!!!!!!!
Still can’t believe that Sharon bought into all of her faux pregnancy stuff, including being advised into not talking to Dylan and other family and friends. And them buying into it. I really want to like her but she can be so dense, drugs or no drugs from Doc Anderson.
Yay! I hope it is Sandy taking that gurney ride.
But dont understand why Adam would have anything
to do with that at all.
I’m going with Patti getting her revenge on Sandy Allen/Anderson by stabbing her in her office…
Yes, SweetC,
Two very important developments, that I can see. Sharon is playing ball. She represents one key in opening Anderson’s mind and her past. The therapist has become the patient…role reversal. Sharon will definitely learn something during this house-call.
Second key: Patty! Now, I understand her return. She will open Sage’s and Nick’s minds….suspicion becoming a fact. Patty’s cryptic innuendos, her silly, almost crazy remarks will soon make sense to Sage….the more intuitive and observant of the couple. Nick can be such a dud, sometimes. I am so enjoying this….at last!!! Later.
Of course it was Dr. Anderson, aka Sandy Allen– the question is did she really get murdered or is she staging her death in order to frame Nick and or Sage for her murdered?
If she is really dead I hope they don’t make Patty the killer– but she will be blamed, as well as Nick, and Sage, and Sharon who is off her meds again– and throw Adam in there because Adam has to be part of every murder in town somehow—Ian Ward, Mariah and orderly number 3 could be thrown in there too– a murder in GC, must be Feb sweeps time.
You think so, Mary? As I said, what would be the point of Anderson dying? The story would die with her. On the other hand, my very wise Mary; what better revenge for the good, ole crazy doc to have on her ‘enemies’? With her death, they would never live a happy life.
Also, I still suspect Anderson is giving Sharon a placebo.
The scene at the looney bin are getting more bizarre each day. How fitting!! I wonder if Faison is hiding somewhere in there with Heather Webber.
Oh, Mary, what a great deduction! We saw the letter opener on the floor. Both Sage and Nick were in Anderson’s office. That faux ‘weapon’ could, very well, have both their fingerprints on it. And, here it starts. It is going to be a process of elimination….will take forever, though. Paul is not the sharpest….
But, golly gee, wait a minute, Mary. Dylan will come along on his white charger and fix everything. Later.
PS.
As you suspect, Mary, Patty will be blamed. She is the consummate scapegoat. But, I’m with you. I hope it wasn’t Patty. I love this wounded bird. And, I blame it all on Jack. He surely did a number on her ….since her teens, from what my grandmother tells me.
Hi CeeCee,
Your grandmother is absolutely right!!!!! Back in the day, Jack (originally portrayed by Terry Lester) totally ‘did a number’ on poor Patty (originally portrayed by Lilibet Stern, a blonde). You see, Jack (if I remember correctly) didn’t pay enough attention to Patty…or to their marriage. And, his cheating on Patty sent Patty herself over the edge. CeeCee…I am in full agreement with you…I (also) believe that Jack is to blame for the way that Patty is. Another thing: For a lot of years, Paul resented and flat-out HATED Jack for the way that Jack had treated Patty. CeeCee…I gotta tell ya’…I (also) love Patty. A-n-d…I truly believe that there is a truly good person inside of Patty…I’ve always thought so. It’s just that…through the years, Jack broke Patty’s heart…and more than once. One final thing for now: To me, the character of Jack Abbott (deep-down and everything) only cares about one person…Jack Abbott aka HIMSELF!!!!! Beyond sad.
Later.
@jaybird.
Hey, Jay,
Exactly. Jack is a terrible person. All Patty wanted was to be loved by him. He abused and used her love at will.
But, everyone has forgotten that deep down he is as dastardly as Victor. However, TPTB have elevated Jack to sainthood. Why? I can’t say. All I know is that I detest Jack more than I do Victor. Later, my friend.
Hey, CeeCee,
HELL TO THE YEAH Jack is just as dastardly as that GRUMPY OLD DINOSAUR Victor!!!!! Here’s what occurred to me a few years ago (and which should have occurred to me a lot sooner): I just don’t get/understand as to why both Jack and Victor are enemies, anyway. I mean, to me, both Jack and Victor (in terms of dastardly, devious and manipulative behavior) are basically the same person. Y-I-K-E-S!!!!!
Another thing: ‘Dylan will come along on his white charger and fix everything’…LMAO!!!!! And, sadly, so true. I mean…more and more, Dylan playing ‘Instant Cop’ is such a JOKE!!!!! To me, back in the day, Richard Dean Anderson’s ‘MacGyver’ was W-A-Y MORE BELIEVABLE than bland, dull and one-note Dylan currently playing ‘Mr. Cop’. I mean…gimme a break already!!!!!!!!!! Y-e-p.
Later, CeeCee.
P-e-a-c-e.
@jaybird.
You are too funny. Great depiction of Dylan. We must keep in mind it’s a soap…STILL, c’mon, right? Instant cop fantasy..lol. Later, Jay.
Hi Mary,
Of course, it is February aka ‘sweeps month’. A-n-d…let’s not forget May and November aka the other 2 ‘sweeps months’. Yep.
Later.
I noticed Mal Young’s name as a producer on the credits the other day, so here’s hoping that Chuck Pratt’s body is under the sheet.
HaHa, joe.
Sheila Carter….
That’s funny, too, hayley.
probably Dr. Anderson. looks like a who-dunnit is coming. it also means it may be a while before it’s revealed Sully is Christian. not a fan of the baby switch storyline,Sharon’s going to end up being the fall person again. I bet the show will have Sharon find out the truth, and then keep it a secret. the writing of Sharon has been bad for nearly a decade now. i’m not here to watch Sage be a heroine.
You’re on the right track, robert. I did say, ‘they’re’ not done with poor Sharon.
Hey, Robert…the final sentence in your post SPEAKS VOLUMES!!!!! I cannot envision Sage as heroine-material…AT ALL!!!!! N-o.
P-e-a-c-e.
Robert…one other thing that I wanna say here: To me, Sage is OK, character-wise. But, as a soap-heroine. n-o. Sorry…but the line has to be drawn somewhere. Just saying……….
Take care.
Quick correction: I meant to put a … in-between the words ‘soap-heroine’ and ‘n-o’.
My bad.
Well, taking all of the above possibilities, and then all of the possible killers and motives, this should make a great writer’s table. Why do you think recent results have been so frustrating? Soaps are a part of Americana. How could they reach a more satisfying stride considering the world wide reach without losing their serious and slap-happy history; a difficult task in any time, particular these days.
…particularly…
talk about looney what’s up with Sharon’s haircut. It’s a bit off balance
Patty cakes must have opened a hair salon at Fairview!
thank god for a good ol’ sharon and nick storyline… the only storyline thats keepn me tuned in! ..the rest of the show with the santori and internet dealings is pure crap!
i like that nicks confided in sharon, i hope that adam and sage grow closer once they get their baby back and nick and sharon grieve once again for a lost baby and dylan s too busy with the gcpd to care
I would love for a Sharon and Nick reunion. And, yes…Sage and Adam. I know I will get some heavy duty backlash, but, I have never taken to Chelsea. I must, however, compliment that hair….wow, the woman has the healthiest hair I have ever seen. Love it…color and all.
I like both of your reunions. I am tired of Adam and Chelsea. Like Harry pointed out, its not Justin’s fault, he is a good actor, Chelsea is just up his azz about EVERYTHING and its annoying! Chelsea was a con artist, she is no angel. She should understand that when hitching up with a Newman, you get the lies, deception and secrets. Not that Adam should cheat on her. Thats wrong. Business wise, she should mind her own freaking business and stay away from Marissa!
@Timmm.
Absolutely. I have always proclaimed Chelsea’s shortcomings, albeit most just can’t get enough of her. People do not change that drastically. I just am not a fan. And, her newfound affinity with Marissa doesn’t help her cause, either.
The same goes for her mother (Daisy Duke, lol). Remember how deceitful and underhanded she was? Like mother like daughter….and father.
I do agree with you Timmmbo. And, I love the way you simply state that when marrying into the Newman family; a certain amount of lying is to be expected….including subterfuge. LOL.
Y&R’s facade is just not what it is supposed to be. Sure, we all love change, but all these comings and going just make the soap unrecognizable.. Later, love.
Would love for Marissa to be killed, but I doubt it’s her. Maybe Sandy. Hope it’s not Patty because she is fun.
Oh no. Not some other long-winded murder mystery to get “justice” for a character that NOBODY cares about!!! Hours and hours of boring police interrogation and cryptic “tweeting” by Patty on the horizon. YAWN!
Oh, Lucia. The Patty mystery is the best yet. The “tweeting” is where all the answers are. Now, all Nick, Sage and Sharon have to figure out who the little tweeting bird is. CHRISTIAN!!
The murder? That, I could care less…I agree.
